GGT 259: Girls, Girls Girls, but where dem boys at Skullgirls?!

Uh, Rising *IS* a Cyborg Ninja game. Get the Grey Fox skin and it *really* is. :p
I know, but I want the story entirely about him. I want a part where you go insane and beat your head into the ground for 5 minutes.

You can play the whole game as Gray Fox in Portable Ops. Hell you can play the whole game as Signit if you wanted to, or even Major Zero!
I know, but it's not the saaaame. I mainly played it as Gray Fox, but I did play Major Zero for a bit.

Its null not gray fox.
Tomato/Potato.

Well, yeah, it's better than shit like Primal Rage or Rise.
Obviously.

Then again, Injustice is better than shit like Primal Rage and TimeKillers, in all likelihood. :p

I personally find it to be at least on par with any fighter released this gen and probably the closest thing to what I'd consider a complete package for a fighter -- the story mode could be better, I guess... something more like MK9's... but in general, I think Skullgirls is pretty fucking awesome.

I don't know what you mean. That's kind of the point of the whole system.
Well, the way you asked it, it made me think it mattered and I should really have like -- one of each persona and be focusing their abilities in some way I've been too lackadaisical about, really. Like I should have a Strength and a Hermit and a Tower, etc. I usually only keep 1-2 and then just try to hoard them in the dungeons as the Shuffle Times occur.

You should just make sure to cover all your basis by having each type of element and a dedicated healer persona. That's enough to get you through the game.

You only need to worry about their Arcana type if you're going out social linking, since having the same type as the person gives a bonus to your points to rank up.

You know what really is the best thing about SR3?

Is that you can make your own radio station.

And you can put only one song on that station.

And that one song can be Power.

I kind of want the SRIV Game of the Generation Edition.

I am supposed to be swearing off useless CEs/LEs/SEs, but the dub step gun and button look annoying as fuck and that amuses me.

Huh... I didn't know CAG was giving away Skullgirls beta keys.  Just snagged one, tried it out, and damn... did they make some huge changes to this game while I wasn't paying attention?

i already preordered the sriv game of the generation edition in store today, it cost $119.99, instead of $129.99. it only requires $5 deposit

Neither did I! I'm downloading it now. I'm excited to play it. Hope my PC can handle it easily.

WALL OF QUOTES :O

I am getting Batman on PS3, but that's mainly because of the exclusive costumes. If it has good costumes exclusive to 360 I may buy both versions at launch like I did for Arkham City, but for it to be that I'd have to either get an Azrael suit or Green Lantern Batman.

Shadows of the Damned is kind of like RE4, but the guns are more specialized and the enemies are more supernatural. I think it's only like RE4 where the view point is concerned.
I guess I don't care as much for smaller exclusive stuff as long as I can play the games, I have the other ones on 360 already.

ESO will have the world of an MMO, but the gameplay will be instance base.
I'm fine with this, I've played full world MMOs, Instance MMOs, and MMOs like Phantasy Star where it's just 4 player groups and I enjoy all of them

http://www.twitch.tv/bethesda

The combat is just as shitty as the console games. You'd think they would update it.

Dragon's Dogma combat, please.
I don't mind the combat either, as I said before I will surely give it a shot.

That's cuz it's called Skullgirls, not Skullboys.
With that name or not it still needs more variety

I really got into EQ2 so I'm definitely interested in giving Next a shot!

Guys, EQ Next looks fucking awesome.
Checked a bit out and I definitely agree, signed up for that beta as well haha :D

Skullgirls blows.
I tried out the beta and it's alright, I wouldn't say it blows but it's also not as amazing as some people here make it seem.

SR3 is such a great fuckin game.
100% Agree!

I think I'll get the middle one, since I don't really need that glass case and the Wub Wub edition comes with $10 credit on Amazon which you can use to get the Season Pass for free then.

I'd probably try any Pokemon game eventually :p

my sandwich making skills are top tier

kick ass 2 in two weeks joel won't see it until another 6 months for some unknown reason

did you even look at the video? lol
I didn't watch the whole thing but I watched a good chunk of it :p

I'm going to eat right now.

We can totally play Marvel or Borderlands or Far Cry or Halo or whatever right after.
If/when/depending on what you guys do I might jump in as well, Halo would be pretty sweet :O

it is never too late to eat. but i usually eat dinner earlier around 7-8pm. lol
I agree, never too late to eat! Granted I'm on a night schedule so these times are all early for me haha

Little burnt out on TLoU, putting it down for the night. I think it just has more wading through water, climbing ledges, and flashlight browsing than I'd like (which I originally was having a lot of fun with). I'm always craving those cutscenes and QTEs, to be honest, but they're so rare.

I love the parts with the Clickers, though it's sort of silly how your partner A.I. spazzes out with each move to cover and makes a huge racket. Still my favorite segments, nonetheless.

Gameplay isn't impressive but the story is fucking great. Especially when you get random dialogue bubbles to interact with like Joel explaining to ellie what an ice cream truck is.

They're always changing it. But yes, it's been under constant revision -- when they play the Salty Cupcakes matches on Stream, they use the newest weekly build -- Mike Z has a list of changes he's always making/improving/etc.

It's really neat watching in the beta as Squiggly gets more and more finished.

You mean a rape van?

That's why TLOU should have just been a movie. No one is playing it for the subpar gameplay. All anyone talks about is the story.
