This thread has been replaced by TSDT v11

Daily Deal:
Please check the Steam homepage.

Weeklong Deals:
Steam usually has week-long deals that change on Mondays at 6PM UTC. They mostly feature indie games, and may not run every week.

Sale summary lists:

Key:
⤷ indicates DLC, — specifies part of a pack, + shows alternative versions, ⚠ highlights things worth knowing, ♫ is obvious, and ... denotes a multi-pack.

Holiday Sale 2013 | 19/12/13 through 3/1/14:
Days 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-14.

Spring/Autumn Sale 2013 | 27/11/13 through 3/12/13:
All days.

Steam deals on other stores: (Related threads on CAG.)

Indie* bundle threads: (*Not always indie, nor always a bundle.)

Free stuff:
There are quite a few free games (mostly Free to Play) and mods available via the Steam platform, a comprehensive list of which can be found in this thread on the SPUF.
(NOTE: free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.)

Nothing new for me in tier 2. Any thoughts on Uprising 44 or An Alien with a Magnet? What about Mystery Game? Anyone played that? I'm having trouble finding the Greenlight page for it.

Who says you did? How does a copy of Cargo Commander sound?
Cargo Commander sounds awesome.

Dudes....I ended up with the best Secret Santa on CAG!

HOOKERS!

He didn't send me hookers...but something pretty damn close.  Thanks, ese!

If I were you, I would pass on PAYDAY 2 until there is a complete version with all DLC for $10.

From PAYDAY 1 to PAYDAY 2, the dev/pub hired some goon from EA that has totally reworked things to screw over gamers. Do not like.

Does anyone care about the community vote?  I'm thinking of voting Bulletstorm because I enjoyed it.

...not that it matters anyhow... my vote just legitimizes Gaben's systematic corruption.

Yeah, anyone have a preference, speak up now, because I'm going to cast my vote, and I don't care.

EYE @ 90% off gets my vote.

That's EASILY worth it for $1.

Plus, the game's totally bat-crap crazy.

It's like a mix of Deus Ex + huge Multiplayer-sized maps + tons of esoteric symbolism/references + you can hack into other people + you can get human-hacked + all kinds of other insanity.

Fine, but, just for you.  I'll vote E.Y.E.  (I already own it, played a little, wasn't in the mood / didn't grab me right away).

Edit: MysterD's post right above this one, implies nothing.

RIPD is awful.

According to forums, RIPD is just a reskinned God Mode.

By my math, that makes God Mode something I will foolishly buy because it has cards.

Hmm... Blade Symphony for $3 seems decent.
Multiplayer-only = pass for me.

I'd vote for Bulletstorm if it didn't require GFWL, and for EYE if I hadn't bought it years ago for $2.50. Guess that means I'll be voting for Godmode.

Crap, I don't know if I'm gonna bite on The Secret World: Massive Edition for $20. I'm playing the trial now, and I like it, but don't love it.

I'm still in the first world (zombies).

Payday 1 gets the 90% treatment but the Wolfpack DLC is a measly 15% off...
That type of treatment has bothered me for a long time. I dont understand why they dont discount wolfpack. I mean i can almost buy payday 2 for what that dlc is going for. dumb.

Honestly, I enjoyed God Mode for what it was, but the issue now with it is there is pretty much no one playing.  So, unless you want to be mostly soloing through your cooperative horde mode experience, I'd say give it a pass.

Just fyi, it's not all about zombies =)

I like it for the world it creates ...not another damn fantasy MMO.

Yeah, I know it's not just zombies.

I think what's turning me off is the fighting mechanics. I guess the action in DC Universe Online spoiled me.

I also am still struggling to figure out how to craft.

Is the extra $10 for the massive edition worth it?

EYE just didn't click with me either. I was sort of bored with it.

Bulletstorm, on the other hand, was at least a reasonably fun shooter. I'm voting for it as Epic Games should be responsible enough to remove GFW,

I know we asked for some variety in the deals - and I think they've delivered that to some degree - but there seem to be an awful lot of Early Access games featured in this sale. I know that's the "new thing", but I approach those with caution, having seen over the years so many good ideas flop during the execution phase. How about we wait until you're done with that game before we pay you for it, huh?

My thoughts exactly, I got burned last sale with Under the Ocean, and it hasnt been touched since july I think. Also these multiplayer only indie games worry me. What happens when the servers are empty? you got nada.
