WTF?!

OK, I'm very interested in getting the Power Pad for Athletic World and the other games compatible for it. But I don't know which is one which. What the is the difference between these two, as far as I see, they're both named Power Pad, but one has 12 buttons, and the other 8!!!

Those are the same pad, just opposite sides of it. If you look in the upper-right corner, it says "Side A" and "Side B".

if im not mistaken its the same pad, just flip it over for the differnt look...
Never had one of my own, it just looks like it is by the placement of the wire and the circles were the buttons should be on the first one...

I actually never owned those two games. I had World Class Track Meet (on the same catridge as Mario and Duck Hunt) and this two player game where you have to run through different obstacle courses, but the name of it has slipped my mind. It would almost always freeze, though.
