This thread will maintain a list of all current and upcoming sales and markdowns on the Xbox Live Marketplace / Xbox Games Store for the USA.  YMMV in other regions.  If non-US sales are listed, they will be marked with their applicable region(s).

Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

Holy shit @ the last act of Sleeping Dogs

everything from The Funeral to the very end was goddamn EPICCCCCC

that shit was better than most real action movies I've seen in the last 10 years lmao
I still cannot get into the game. I played probably 20% of the game (mission wise) but it just feels really boring to me. Thank god it was free!

So you admit you haven't even played Toy Soldiers: Cold War, then proceed to say it has a lot to correct? How do you know? If you haven't even played the game, why do you have a paragraph up there talking about it? Thanks for all the useful info there, seriously. *thumbs up* Good job, good effort...
It has a lot to correct from the first game, which he didn't like and explained as to why in the paragraph before it.

I don't know if your eyes just zipped to the Cold War part or if you're just trolling or whatever.

On Ebay? I've gotten positive feedback before then two weeks later they disputed the charge on Paypal and my account got locked.
Well every person who bought from me had 60+ feedback scores and 100% positive. I have sold over 500+ items the last year and considered a "powerseller". Not too worried.

You aren't supposed to sell digital items on eBay technically although lots of people do anyway. A few months ago I sold a $25 amazon card via message to the buyer, who was on a stolen account. After the dispute, not only did I lose my money, but the buyers credit card company charged me another $25 in fees. Word of caution to anyone selling digital codes.

Someone needs to grab their crystal ball and look more into the April-July lineup for the X1/360. I'm not see much lol. Backlog time?

You can sell them through the classified section.

Tell me about it. I've been screwed over by ebay's pro-buyer/anti-seller crap policies before.
I honestly don't know what happened. I got 2 WOW 30 day codes as a gift. I never played it, so I put them up on Ebay for $5 cheaper than retail. I put up one at a time to see how smoothly things would go. A guy bought it a few days later and left positive feedback, so I put the 2nd code up the next week. The same guy bought that one too and left positive feedback. He only disputed the 2nd charge and wouldn't reply. My Ebay account was not affected. From that moment on, I only sell physical items on Ebay. If it is an online code, I print it and send out the paper. I haven't actually sold anything since then on Ebay. I like Craigslist better because you can meet them in person.

All he needs to do is say "I haven't played it" or "I don't plan on playing it after the first game". Any further commentary on it is fairly pointless, instead of spending a paragraph SPECULATING on that he might not like the game, or what he might not like in the game.

I have no problem with his thoughts on the first game, since he actually played it.

Cold War was a blast and it's coop...it's worth it just to launch the Rambo action figure alone

this. he even spouts sly sounding quotes from the movie no?

Looks like Ryse will be on sale for $40 on the Xbox Marketplace from 2/18 to 2/24. Pretty bad price since there have been numerous opportunities to get the physical copy for that much, but I guess it's a step in the right direction since I don't think MS has discounted one of it's games like that so "soon" (relative term) after release.

As for the actual game, I beat it and traded it in soon after launch. It was shallow, but looked really good and I enjoyed my time with it. I'll probably pick it up again when it's under $10.

Tell me about it. I've been screwed over by ebay's pro-buyer/anti-seller crap policies before.
Those policies are the only reason I went back to using eBay. It used to be the other way around, where buyers bacially got screwed left and right and had no recourse whatsoever for bad deals. Thankfully, eBay initialed their buyer protection policy and everything changed, for the better in my opinion.

As for this weeks XBox Live deals, I honestly don't even know why I even bother checking anymore. Pathetic, lol.

I have played through the demo. There's not much speculation unless the remainder of the game allows for more freedom, I still saw some of the same problems on the demo portion. Locations allowing emplacements were still set in size/location, stymieing freedom. I still felt the need to know when/where/what were coming in the demo portion. My statements were on what I've tried of the game, but still I've not played the game to earn gamerscore nor finish. I did buy the game, I still intend on playing through the game sometime, just not immediately, and I hope someone tells me it does get better. I DO hope that later levels open up as the South Park Tower Defense and Defense Grid gave more freedom/options as the game progressed, that statement I felt was still worth saying.

If you have a problem with paragraphs, it was just how my usual line of thought goes as I type. I did say beforehand that they were just MY THOUGHTS, not reviews, not gospel. I see no need to be abrasive about the matter in turn causing the thread to become more caustic.

Back on track, I am disappointed there's no special Assassin's Creed 3 DLC discounted for this very American day ^^ (I know there are others from other countries here too).

So are we gonna talk about how fucking sweet Titanfall is or what? I'm still curious about how the "campaign" plays out, but I see this being my go to online game for a looong time.

It is much better than I was expecting and I plan on buying it on release week. I hope the achievements are more time consuming that difficult. I don't want one for a 20 kill streak, but I'll take one for getting 200,000 kills.

Why is it pointless? He obviously had something to say since he was able to write a paragraph about it. Are we just not allowed to speculate about games that we haven't played yet or have been released yet as well? It's called discussion, and it doesn't matter whether or not you've done something, you can still contribute cuz people are intelligent enough beings to be able to formulate ideas about stuff through context, you know?

And honestly, he can spend his paragraphs doing whatever the fuck he wants. It's not like he's taking from a limited poll of collective paragraphs that we are each allowed to use and wasting them. The very obvious thing to say to you is; you don't have to read it.

Looks freaking rad. But I'm worried for the 360 version, since there's been no news. videos, or pretty much anything on it other than it's being ported by a different company and it's delayed a week or two.

Titanfall was clearly meant for next-gen and high-end PCs. Releasing it for the 360 is just imo a move to get 360 holdovers to make the leap to the X1 so they can play Titanfall the way it was meant to be played. Perhaps they love it on the 360 enough to whet their appetite and they want to upgrade to the superior version like all the cool people are doing. We all know its not going to hold a candle to the X1 version.

Yeah, I know, but I'm still just hoping it's mostly just a graphical jump rather than a huge game mechanic change. And everyone I know is sticking to their 360s for now, because spending $500 just to play one game isn't logically sound. But wouldn't it be better for them to not release it for the 360? Because I just don't see it people doing the whole "Oh hey, it's cool on 360, I should buy a Xbone just to play it better" scenario, since they already have it on the 360. It's either going to be "Hey, this is awesome on the 360! I don't need to upgrade to fully enjoy it except for shinier graphics!" or "Man this sucks on the 360! Why even bother get an Xbone if I don't like it on the 360?" Releasing it just on the Xbone would have pushed more people to buy it rather than test the waters on their 360.

Launch lineups rarely inspire for sure

Looks freaking rad. But I'm worried for the 360 version, since there's been no news. videos, or pretty much anything on it other than it's being ported by a different company and it's delayed a week or two.
Well another way to look at is maybe they aren't showing the 360 version because the XBOne version isn't that much better. If they are somewhat comparable that wouldn't look good for the One. I'm sure MS is trying to cash in on as many One sales as possible with the game.

Haha, yeah definitely.

I wish I could believe that. I mean, I'm holding out on hope, but why even bother release a 360 version then if they're trying to max out Xbone sales? Because they said they were going to support the 360 for another supposed two years? That's what all the other games are for. I guess it could be one of Respawn's conditions on the Microsoft buyout, since their goal was to bring it to as many consoles as possible, and so all consoles under the Microsoft umbrella would get it. But then why are they not handling the port themselves? Ugh. too many factors here in the dark. Just gotta wait, I guess.

Ah, yes... The time on Monday night where I ignore everything else and repeatedly refresh xbldb in hopes of being the first to see a deal that will last a whole week. I never even decide to buy on a Monday night, so it's an even dumber ritual.

Dirt 3 $5.

Bastion $3

Radiant Silvergun $7.50

Halo Reach $7.50

Ruse $6.60

Portal 2 $9.89

Persona 4 Arena $9.89

Alan Wake American Nightmare $3

Ridge Racer Unbounded $5

Asura's Wrath $7.60

Angry Birds Wallet Rape Edition $20

Not bad deals.

A crap ton of stuff just got added including Bastion for $2.99, Dirt 3 for $4.99 and discounts on Persona 4 Arena, Portal 2, Armored Core: Verdict Day and Halo: Reach! :D

Never heard of Radiant Silvergun. Anyone know of it?

Sucks that they waited this long to drop the NASCAR game down. They release the new game in a couple of weeks, which means the MP for this will probably be shut down pretty quickly.

Probably in for Dirt 3 and RR:U this week... Damn... Quite a few of these deals are tempting to have on digital...

Damn, Microsoft. It feels like if we can make fun of you for bad sales you rise to the occasion. We should make fun of you more.

In for DBZ, Dust, Ridge Racer, possibly the D&D game, Batman....wow...so many deals!

Never heard of Radiant Silvergun. Anyone know of it?
The legendary prequel to Ikaruga, one of the games that started (in my mind anyhow) the popularity of "bullet hell" games, originally on the Dreamcast. Great deal on it!

Whoo 80% sales! Dust for $2.99? Already played it for half off but very fun and unique.

Thinking about picking up Bastion finally. But P4A was a surprise. There were better sales on Asuras wrath with its dlc a while ago.

On Major Nelson's podcast they said there would be Daily Deals this week. Some of these might be a part of it, so buy them now before it's to late.
