The XP for the badge is higher for Red (150) than any other team (100). That's funny.

edit: same XP regardless of how many points you scored for your team. Then again, people got XP for the points with other badges.

Was really hoping Prison Architect would get an encore. I'll probably pick up Chivalry DLC and Shadowrun Returns. I heard SR wasn't too good, but hopefully workshop content will help make it better. I think this will be the closest I can get to playing anything newish Shadowrun (I really enjoyed the fps shooter one).

 
Shadowrun is great but needed more open endedness.  I hear dragonfall helped in that area a bit but I can't confirm it as I just bought that dlc.  I do know that everyone says that you should the dlc as it's good enough and big enough to be considered almost a sequel.

  • Risk of Rain - 1 TF2 Key
  • Age of Empires II + The Forgotten DLC - The Amazon glitch. $2.49
  • Battleblock Theatre - 1 TF2 Key + 1 TOD Ticket - This was the day before that 2 pack of it and Castle Crashers was even cheaper.
  • Lara Croft & The Guardian of Light - 1 TF2 Key
  • Orion Dino Horde - 1 TOD Ticket - It blows but is hilarious in that shitty game way. Had some fun that night with friends just laughing at it and watching Dinos with horrible physics do flips and shit upon their deaths.
  • Velocity Ultra - $3.00 - This is bundle fodder, but its a nice spin on shmups with some definite replayability. The card drops paid for half of it as I got three that were going for .50 each at the time.
  • Bit.Trip.Flux - $1.99 Was the only one I needed to complete the collection.
  • Valiant Hearts - 1 TF2 Key - This was a Russian price glitch so I traded for it. I got in before the region lock and activated it. Could still be retroactively locked, but Im hopeful that doesnt happen and if it does, oh well. Beautiful game though. More of an interactive "story" with some light puzzling.
  • Urban Trials - $0.99 - It's a not very good knock off of the brilliant Trials games, but there is some fun to be had. 
  • Resident Evil 4 - 4 TF2 Keys
  • Assassin's Creed Liberation - 3 TF2 Keys
  • Cloudbuilt - Impulsively bought this on Amazon for $4.99. Next day was $2.99 on Steam. Oh well.
  • Sniper Elite 3 Season Pass - 8 TF2 Keys
All in all not bad. I got a Steam wallet card a few days before the sale began and my wallet currently shows more than it did that day from card sales and other crap (I had two foil drops during the sale). I had pre-ordered Sniper Elite 3 (which Im LOVING) and sold a regular card for over $3 as I was up right when it launched. I did some trading during the sale, so most of my TF2 key spending was for stuff I already had although I did buy a few at the end.

I'm still debating on picking up Strider and Ikaruga. I probably will get one of them if not both.

Are there any good sales on roguelikes?

I wanted desperately to pick up Desktop Dungeons but was out for the day it was (possibly?) on community pick sale... i voted for it, but then was gone and don't know if it even won.

I also think I missed a Steam Marines sale? It's currently 5.99.

I'm looking for turn based stuff... if anyone has any recommendations for them at a sub-$5 price point I'd be very grateful.

And... did I miss any sort of sale on Might and Magic X- Legacy?  I've been logging in a couple times a day (other than when i had to be away from computer) but never saw one... but thought it would definitely be on sale though.

XCOM EU Complete Pack is NOT 75% off yet.

If you want everything XCOM EU at once - maybe you wanna wait for that.

IMHO, the only decent deal for XCOM EU is that XCOM EU (base-game only) + The Bureau bundle (83% off at $8.49) - namely b/c it's actually cheaper to buy that bundle as opposed to buying XCOM EU base-game alone ($9.89)...and that's even if you're only looking for XCOM EU (base-game)!

Only possible drawback on buying XCOM EU (base-game) + The Bureau bundle - well, then you might wanna collect ALL of the EU DLC + especially EW expansion. And who knows how well or poorly those will be priced, buying separate. Especially since a bunch of the companies seem to be taking cues from Bethesda in boning game-owners by giving Complete Packs better pricing and discounts than game-owners who only need to buy the DLC's piece-meal style.

If you ain't fond of The Bureau, it ain't a big loss - since you bought the bundle namely for XCOM EU. {Shrug}

On June 10th...

State of Decay + Breakdown DLC was $5.73 for me in total from GreenManGaming.

Both were 75% off + some kind of voucher (I think it was somewhere b/t 10-20% off extra, IIRC; I don't feel like doing the math right now).

TL;DR - State of Decay + Breakdown have been cheaper elsewhere before.

xcom here is the better deal, but fallout is more than worth 6.67, and is a longer game. i personally would go w/fallout simply because i enjoy that type of game better than what xcom is, but enemy unknown is great game...never played the bureau

Appears I got out with only 55.18$ in damage. Which I'm semi pleased with. Not spending any more.

There are a number of games I'd like to purchase still but they fall into two categories.

Future cheaper. (Planetary Explorers/Transistor) and Oldies which I'll just hunt down in Groupees/IndieGala/etc eventually.

At the rate I play games I could never buy another game again and simply wait for the next good Humble Bundle and I'd be fine. In stead I get all f'ed up and buy these games I won't play. I have got to stop. The only pleasure I get is from the hunt and purchase. I get almost 0 pleasure from playing the actual games.

Frankly I'm sometimes embarrassed of my library size. Its pretty bad.

I've found the following cheap games of interest....

One Way Heroics -- 87 cents... roguelike with what seem to be interesting mechanics

Prime World Defenders -- tower defense... $2. mixed reviews. anyone here play it?

Archon Classic - 99 cents. I played Archon in the 80s and loved it. so. i guess i need this remake.

nppd rush -- 79 cent twin stick shooter, i think? looks interesting.

still searching for last minute steals, especially TD and Roguelike. though i like dual stick shooters too, obviously.

Just - Bureau ain't anything spectacular.

But, yeah...for bang-for-buck and RPG fans - Fallout: NV Ultimate at $6.67 is great deal.

But, one thing - it has been $5 before.

You know, yes Fallout NV has been $5 before but Fallout is a special case. I mean the game has hours upon hours of gaming involved, so I mean while it's $1.67 more, it's really still a hell of a steal. It's not like an indie game you will play for 2 hours and complete it.

Well if you liked the base game, the DLC just adds more sections to the randomly generated maps, more items, and monsters. So it's more of the good stuff.

If you've already beaten the game then there's really... not much else to add?

Definitely get the GOTY, the DLC is worth it and you'll pay a lot more to get it if you try to get it separately later. The Amazon one is a Steam code, so they're the same.

 
I'm not going to post what I bought because nobody cares about that, but I do want to say a big thanks to everyone who randomly gifted me stuff during the sale. You really didn't need to do that, but it was always awesome to come back and find something waiting for me, so thanks for being awesome ^_^
