Man, those are terrible deals on Stalker.  SoC used to go on sale all the time for $4.99 back in the day.

I suppose the Clear Sky price is okay but then you'd own a copy of Clear Sky.

Clear Sky is nowhere as great as the other two STALKER games (Shadow Of Chernobyl + Call of Pripyat).

CS has A LOT of remixing, re-tweaking + whatnot of levels we seen in STALKER: SOC; and the new Faction Wars thing is half-baked. There ain't many new areas in this game, either.

And WTF @ the DRM's. These games are so old + GSC really ain't around anymore, so the DRM should be gone by now. Clear Sky being DRM-FREE is the only one that got the DRM right. Tages + Securom still alive in this era is just unnecessary.

Steam-only DRM is fine - and certainly would be way more acceptable than that crap.

EDIT:

Oh, yeah - the 3 STALKER games are on GOG...and are DRM-FREE. Now, there's absolutely NO REASON these all should NOT be DRM-FREE on Gamersgate.

Risen is well worth the $2 if people didn't pick it up in one of the old Derp Silver bundles.  Just pretend Risen 2 doesn't exist.

 
I like Risen 2. It's campy and ridiculous, probably racist and definitely sexist, but they tried something different and not just the same old stodgy Piranha Bytes generic Euro RPG catering to people who refuse to come into the 21st century shit.

No, no, sorry, I probably expressed myself poorly again. I meant that the GTA Package from GG got also the 1 and 2, like the old package steam was selling a long time ago. Now you cannot get that games through steam store anymore.

The thing is... I was referring to Russia Store since there it is 90% off and 5$... but I don't know if it is region locked.

No GTA sets are heavily region locked - the keys will work everywhere with some notable exceptions.

There's three sets:

One that only redeems in US / CA / MX / PR, probably sold by US stores;

One that redeems worldwide except for US / CA / MX / PR, Germany, Venezuela, and various Islamic countries;

And a third one that won't work in Russia, which is probably not sold at Russiansgate :p

I still liked Clear Sky, despite it being half-baked + not as great as SOC.

But, TBH - Clear Sky really ain't much of a sequel.

It's more like a stand-alone expansion.

We never really got a full-blown STALKER 2, anyways.
