Nope, no changes. Both can play online/earn trophies. Only locked phantoms have the restrictions.
What is this locked phantom thing you guys are talking about? I've seen it mentioned a few times in here already, but have no idea what it means. The only thing I gathered is that whoever has the locked phantom can only play the game on the account the game is registered to, so it's mostly useless unless you only want to play the game to finish the story and don't give two shits about trophies.

As far as I know you can only have 30 background downloads at the same time... unless you can change that in the PS3 settings, but I don't know about that.

Actually when I bought my 2nd PS3, I downloaded everything onto the 2nd that I had on the 1st and it took about 4 days. Which is why I stress in all my posts that you don't have to download everything at the same time. I can't reset for 5 more months so anyone who buys can go back in as many times as they need to between the date of purchase and the date of reset *in February*.
so far the only other games that's graphics really blew me away were killzone and bf4, and i've played most of the mainstream ps4 games. lots of games that are cross platform like AC4 or Ghosts don't look much better on ps4, not enough to warrant the price of the games at least. Even destiny doesn't look THAT much better. at that point you're paying moreso for a higher framerate and 1080p (some ps3 versions are only 720p). 60fps > 30fps and when you get used to it and have to go back to 30fps you'll hate itHey guys!

Well, last weekend my girlfriend got me an early birthday present, a Ps4 (ain't that a girlfriend, huh?)
While I've got very little time to play games nowadays (I'm away from home about 14 hours a day 4 days a week working) I've got myself a couple of nice games.
I thought about getting The Last of Us again, but since I've already played it I was thinking if someone's got a share of it here, that would make shedding out cash for that game a bit more forgiving on my wallet, lol.
So if anyone's got a resell or a phantom of it shoot me a PM, otherwise I'll wait until 25th this month.
Are there any other nice games coming out for Ps4 soon that shows of some power?
I recently got Infamous SS and holy hell, those particle effects! But It seems that there's not that many other games that shows similar juiciness as SS does.
I'm getting D3 to play with my girlfriend, but I don't think D3's got that great graphics, (No I'm not a graphics whore, but it's still nice to see something that's a bit different from the Ps3)

Yeah, KZ have some really nice graphics (and PT looked pretty sweet) and Infamous SS impressed me a lot, but all the other games looks more like ports with a bit better resoulution and frame rate, and that's a bit sad.

Wish I had a PS4 I'd join you. I'm still looking for a PS3 phantom but it looks like no other groups will be forming. Guess I'll just wait until the disc drops to $20 to buy it.
Damn I wish you were going Phantom. I'd take it but I do plan on upgrading HDD in future so I don't wanna lose any games in the process.
