I think they decided to make it a permanent sale like DBZ so that everybody that paid $8.25 has to see the $6.25 price whenever they check the sales section.

Yea the servers are going to explode Tuesday, luckily all my time will be spent on AC Unity on PS4. I have MCC preloaded but I have my console on energy saver so I haven't downloaded that 15gb patch yet. I'll do it next week, nah eff that. I'll do it the week after, I got FC4 to play during that week.

have had no problem playing aw online since i got the 30 dollar copy on xbone. will say i was very surprised to see infected as an option used to love playing it in halo reach. the last human alive though was glitched oob. hopefully more patches soon

My brain might explode while I wait to play Unity and Halo...I don't have money for the weekly deals thanks to my Pure unadulterated love of all things halo and assassin's creed.

Question: Let's say I'm really excited about these games and they're already downloaded on my XBO. Will they be available to play before midnight eastern?

Which punchcard is that? The Games on Demand punchcard I see requires each game to cost at least $59.99 to earn a punch.

$59.99 for the first punch. The rest can be any price as long as it's a games on demand title.

EDIT: I'm assuming this is the case since the only things I've bought are the master chief collection and the 360 San Andreas rerelease and have two.

Contemplating How To Survive. The trial was okay, nothing mindblowing. Also contemplating Fallout 3 - for some reason I still don't own it, but it's also true that I had New Vegas sitting in my backlog for like 2 years and I never really had to urge to play it, so there's that. I own everything else on sale.

I do recommend Serious Sam 3, possibly with its DLC to everyone. The base game is amazing, one of the finest classic FPS experiences you can have right now - not unlike Shadow Warrior which goes for like 40 bucks right now, this one's 3 dollars and worth at least 10 times more. If you decide to pick it up, I recommend getting the DLC as well: it adds more meat to an already awesome campaign and multiplayer as well. Not sure how alive is the community but you can get the whole Serious Sam 3 experience for less than 7 bucks, and it's a really, really fun game. I only suggest not buying it if you also do PC gaming and have a solid computer, 'cause SS3's been in multiple 1 dollar or so bundles.

$59.99 for the first punch. The rest can be any price as long as it's a games on demand title. EDIT: I'm assuming this is the case since the only things I've bought are the master chief collection and the 360 San Andreas rerelease and have two.

I have two full price buys (Destiny and Advanced Warfare), plus multiple other on demand games (San Andreas like you, the free games, and probably other stuff from sales as well), but I also have 2 - of course I don't know if Advanced Warfare was already counted or not. I'm tempted to pick up Fallout 3 anyway so I might just give it a shot to see if it works out or not

EDIT: Now that I remember, I did also pick up Dragon Age 2 last month on sale. The two punchcards make me think it only counted the newly released full priced games, since apparently Dragon Age 2, San Andreas (and obviously the free games) did not count.

Fallout was on sale in July and Serious Sam was a couple weeks ago.

Dammit Microsoft, you were doing so well with the deals as well.

Even though I want the fallout games I think I'll be giving them a pass since the GOTY physical editions are a better deal.

I was tempted by Catherine last time it was on sale, is it worth grabbing?

Personally I didn't like Catherine much. It is essentially a standard puzzle game, made interesting by a very weird (and largely erotic) storyline, characters, and just weird stuff happening at all times. To get full completion you need multiple playthroughs, and honestly the gameplay isn't much fun - to me, anyway. The setting and storyline are interesting so there is interest, though I get the feeling that this is one of those games that could be YouTube'd since the main attraction are the cutscenes and dialogues where you don't control anything.

I didn't realize it was a straight up puzzler, that's not something I tend to enjoy. I don't mind puzzles, and actually quite enjoy them when mixed in well with other types of gameplay, but that really doesn't sound like something I'd enjoy.

 
I'm sorry if this has been asked a million times, but is Titanfall and the Season Pass still on sale? Since I bought it already it's of course just showing up as "Purchased".

 
Yea, Far Cry 4. I went with that over Dragon Age. I would have got DA too but it didn't come with $10 preorder cert at BB and FC4 did. I can wait for a cheaper deal on Dragon age. I'll buy as soon as it hits $50($40 gcu) at Best Buy. If both didn't have one, it would have still been FC4 for me.
