Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

So MS gets none of my black Friday money...nothing at all for the 360 that's worth buying on the list, except for Terraria and san andreas both of which I already have...dang!

By time I get an Xbox One Titanfall 3 will be out...lol...so of course I see no point in spending on games for a console I won't own for several years...kinda makes sense to me. I'm not even a tiny bit interested in titanfall anyway though.

That Titanfall bundle is insane, and for once, Europe doesn't get fucked over that much: 12.50 Euros is what we get for the game + pass combo, by far the best price I've ever seen for such a triple-A game on X1. Can't miss out on it even though I bought the game on 360 already. Also picked up BF4 and considering getting some new and upcoming stuff like Geometry Wars 3, Lara Croft and Never Alone.

Still not sure how I just scored the Titanfall Bundle for $12.XX when the Black Friday page at xbox.com shows $18.99 but it saved me a trip to Gamestop. This is the first time I've actually felt the joy of a Steam Sale on a console.

I'm also down for some Titanfall (though I'm not online a whole lot) @ metallicoholic

Did they actually optmize the X1 version or does it play/look exactly like the 360 one? I wouldn't mind going through season one again for dem feels.
Runs way way smoother and it runs 60fps. Feels like a whole new game, no bullshit. Blows away the 360 version imo

Goes for The Wolf Among Us, as well.

I'm on the fence. Been wanting battlefield 4. And would love digital. But is it worth $45 to get the base game and The PRemium thing or do I just get the base game?

Base game is $20. One year of EA Access is $30.

If you're considering getting the base game of Battlefield 4, you may want to look at the games on EA Access. Downside is you wouldn't have Battlefield 4 a year from now if you don't re-up your EA Access subscription.....but will you still be playing Battlefield 4 a year from now? Just throwin' it out there....

FIFA 15 Holiday Edition is a ton of extra FUT content. I ordered it online at Best Buy, but I think I'll go digital and return or ebay the BBY version.

Is Titanfall worth it if I'll never be able to voice chat? The only chance I have to play is at night when the baby is asleep in the next room.

Totally worth it. Not too many people use voice chat in Titanfall. I'm in the same boat... new baby, so I use headset and no chatting. :)

Awesome, thanks! Is the headset a big part of it? I've never played a mp only game before so I'm just not sure what to expect. I don't have any friends with a One so I'd be roaming around by myself I guess? I dunno. It seems too good a deal to pass up but I don't know how much I'd play it. Guess I'll Dl the demo and stop asking questions : )

Sorry, by headset, I meant my headphones, not the chat headset.  You won't be by yourself.  The maps aren't that big so you'll always have teammates or enemies around for action.  Considering the Season Pass is like $6 right now, that's like paying $6 for Titanfall itself.  Why even take the time to DL the demo?  =)

Titanfall is a blast. I'm not even mad that I paid $25 when it went on sale a while back digitally. I played the shit out of it... The DLC maps are good. 90% of my playing was on just the original maps, but at $15 total, it's worth having them.

You're in for a treat - Titanfall was one of, if not the, first MP game I got into. It's 6v6, so you won't be by yourself. It's a very fast-paced and well-balanced game. I have the chat headset, but seldom use it - most people don't talk. This and PvZ: Garden Warfare (not on sale now) are fantastic. I paid full price for TItanfall and full price for the SP and had a blast. IMO, it's a much 'fairer' experience than any other MP shooter I've played, like Destiny, CoD, and Battlefield.

If anyone wants to play later on XB1, my tag is - StrangerStill79. Just send me a message and I'll join you (otherwise, I might be playing Far Cry 4). Please don't be a douche, I keep running into quite a few of them of late (super serious people who yell/swear at children/less experienced people).

Thanks! Can't wait to start!

Already nabbed Defense Grid 2, Evil Within, Shadows of Mordor and then just now I caved at the Titanfall Bundle simply because it is so cheap haha. I am on the fence now about Ryse. I enjoyed it at release but then sold it because I could get more than I paid for it and so I have been waiting to get it again. $25 still seems a bit steep though, even if it has all the DLC.

I am thinking with all of my other games I should just wait and eventually it will be even cheaper than that?

Wasn't really planning on Titanfall, but can't pass up that price. :)

BTW - is there any way to see the current download queue on your xbox one using either the website or smart glass?

Thanks.

thx

EDIT: Anybody download BF4 Premium :360: and cant find the Dragons Teeth DLC in the Store ? :wall:
From the game menu, click on the "promotion" box on the right and you should be able to see all the DLC including the latest that's not released for non-premium yet. Or you could go through the store in the menu.

BTW everyone who is buying Titanfall or is on the fence - they recently added a neat horde mode playlist that includes most maps (base game + DLC)

I wish I had more to spend but I'm probably going to pick up Trials Fusion, Crysis and maybe a few other games under $5.

Really want Destiny after playing the demo the last few days. Almost has me eager enough to buy a new console.

I recommend Destiny. I thought the beta was fun, but it didn't excite me enough until I got it to just have something to do with friends. It's addicting because of how much you have to grind it out to level up.

If you get it, I'd go digital because you get a free next-gen upgrade.

So glad I checked this out and got in on the Titanfall deal. Crazy good. Downloading it now. The game, 3 DLC packs, and the season pass are all queued up.

Got most of my BF swag today that I wanted except for AC: Rogue for 360. I walked into Walmart and saw it in the case, but there were no employees within sight. Walked around for what felt like ages. The only guy working there at a register (and a huge line I might add) said he didn't have the key and to "look for the girl with the key." Yeah.. thanks Walmart. Real class stuff right there. Abysmal service as usual. Decided I didn't want the game bad enough to waste my time.

Best time for Black Friday shopping at Walmart is either late at night or early in the morning. Went in this morning at 7 a.m. It was a ghost town. Picked up all the Blu Rays and DVDs I had passed on yesterday, and the majority of them were still there.

And, I think that I better pick up Peggle 2 on Xbox One if it's still on sale. Sorry, wanted to keep my post relevant to the topic at hand.

Man, I was really holding out hope that Forza Horizon 2 would miraculously appear at the MS Store price. It's a game I really only want digitally. However, it's also a game I am totally cool waiting for....

I played a bit of Ryse prior to trading it in for $45 for Titanfall (BBY had a promo) and later bought the SP for $10 when it was on-sale, thinking I could get a new copy cheap for the holidays. And then the Legendary Edition releases, but all retailers appear to have them for the same price. Yay. Anyhow, $25 isn't a bad deal if you were going to purchase the DLC anyway (costumes and maps for MP), but I'm going to wait for the base game to go lower.

I already beat LA Noire once and if I rebuy it, is it just going through each mission to 5 star it or is there more I can do?

EDIT: A quick opinion, Murdered: Soul Suspect and Splinter Cell Blacklist are both listed for $20 at EB Games, I have to go down there anyways to fix something for my controller, so which one is better? I've only played Double Agent and Conviction for Splinter Cell before.

Blacklist is excellent. Sticks to the mold of the older games with updated graphics, some new fun gadgets and the return of Spies vs Mercs and co-op. Hard to beat for the amount of content you get. Murdered looked like a really interesting premise but got terrible reviews (like in the 40s on Metacritic I think). Still has a cult following so it's clear that some people like it, not sure what was actually wrong with the game as I never played it but the jist of the reviews was that it was a glitchy game with a pretty shallow story.

Blacklist is very good, but I've seen it as low as $10. Are you sure 20 is a good price?

Blacklist was $8 used during the most recent Gamefly sale. You can easily 1000/1000 it but I don't think $20 is a good buy.
