I have an off topic question for a Skylanders Guru.....Can you use the mini's designed for the tablet portal of Trap Team on the portals of the consoles ie....360 or XBox One?

 
What do you guys think of the Tomb Raider game that comes out Tuesday? I did enjoy the other isometric game and 4 player coop makes this one even more intriguing. $28 for the game and seasons pass is a bit higher than Id like to play but wasnt sure if someone who is planning on getting it can talk me into it.

Also if you use Plex on the X1 and have had issues where the screen dims and then goes black but audio continues doing a hard shut down on the console is supposed to remedy this

Yes, it can do those things. You have to get an Xbox 360 wireless adapter of course, and then set up a profile to swap whatever buttons you want.

The Titan One is the successor to the Cronus Max, designed by the same person but for a different company. It has some features the Cronus Max doesn't, although they're both very similar.

Skylanders minis are not specific to any version of the game. The whole beauty of the Skylanders series is that the actual figures are platform independent.

I find it pretty disgusting that we are now seeing games that are no more than glorified Xbox Live Arcade games, which now have season passes. Are you fucking kidding me??

I personally loved the first game, but indeed the price is a little steep here. It might be worth if you have friends to play it with, but if you don't, just wait a couple months. Tomb Raider stuff goes on sale very frequently, and I'm sure this one won't be too different either.

Would you be happier if after release they provided no additional content? Or if they did provide a bunch of content and there was no way to get it all at a discount? Im not sure how you can be upset if you're not forced to purchase it

Just realized I bought Saints Row IV plus the season pass for $16 6 months ago. Need to start exercising more caution with these digital sales.  Maybe just maybe they will continue to drop over time.

 
For those that have/play PvZ:GW, there's a free sticker pack each day in December or each day before Christmas, can't recall.  Today's sticker pack only had one item tho (for me, anyhow). 

Just a FYI, as I missed out on the free, daily Halloween packs.

 
Is who want to be a millionaire for $3.29 a good game or worth it? Anyone who own it or played this specific one have a opinion on it? Cause I know a few the different disc versions has issues before

Easy achievements. (Fastest Finger one is a pain though)

The "host" is annoying as shit though.

 
Well you can transfer your Destiny guy to Destiny 2.

Yet another Halo MCC update is out now. Halo must be the first early access game to hit X1

Same here. My biggest gripe is you need to open a separate app to view them, when on the 360 you hit the home button, tabbed over and were given the laundry list of them right there with no fuck ing around with snapping.

I use to be all about achievements but man did they fuck them up. Even more hilarious when people say "oh you can get an achievement today on MCC."

Yeah because the achievements, let alone the game, are working correctly.

Anyways, I got that shit/MCC returned and I am happy with GTAV so far though.

I didn't like GTAV on the 360 though, I got it for free to with the best buy glitch.

I was already packing my xbox one up but it sort of changed my mind.

That and my friend gave me access to Time Warner Digital Account and I am able to watch almost anything for free without cable. :D/

Signed up w/gamefly due to that $1 promo for one month and been dying to try out Diablo due to other suggestions here......man does this game suck. Been playing for almost 2 plus hours doing nothing but button mashing and alternating between a few other buttons and just......not feelin it. I dunno if its the grind, bland story, no achievements or what. But this shit's getting sent back in a hurry. Wolfentsein blows this game out of the water hands down.

OT - can't wait til the holiday countdowns! Hoping for deep discounts ala 80% off/$2.50 games or dlc

At this point, my 360 backlog is getting pretty crazy with no hope for me to catch up anytime soon. I think I'm going to avoid the Christmas/countdown sale unless something really good comes up.

Snapping them on X1 is much faster than on 360. Takes over 60 seconds to load achievements on 360 vs. 10 seconds on X1. The loading time on 360 is ridiculous, but that might be because I have a lot of achievements. Plus snapping arranges the achievements in order of closest to unlocking to least closest.

The problem with Diablo is that you have to grind a lot before you get to the fun stuff. On harder difficulties, you have to use a little bit of strategy compared to when you first start where you can just mash through the game.

Any thoughts on the Brave game?  Looks OK and has acceptable reviews for a kids game.  Seems like it plays sort of like a Skylanders game.  A little weird that it's labelled as a Kinect game and I can't find any information on how it actually interacts with Kinect.

 
I really like the way they've set up achievements for the one.... between the monthly leaderboard, the ability to snap so you can see and interact with the list while playing, and the progress bars to see your status on a particular achievement, I think they have actually taken a step forward. My one gripe is that the timed challenges are also in the same list as achievements and it can be a pain to differentiate between them. Also snapping my achievements does seem quicker than goong through the guide button on 360

Countdown will be about 15 or 16 days of offers, so chances are very high that something will be of interest. I'm still waiting on Torchlight, Ikaruga and a few other games, though my backlog is huge and I doubt I'll ever finish all the games I own.

I have over 226,000 Gamerscore and it takes not even 5 seconds to load on my 360. The problem is most likely the system. I have an older phat Jasper system which takes at least a minute to load up my Gamerscore and all my arcade games + games on Demand. I bought a newer slim 360 last year (Corona version) and everything is super fast. I only have 40 gigs left on the 250 gig internal so it's got lots of stuff on there too.

Witcher 3 was only a "maybe" for me, but there's not a lot going on in the first few months of next year. RE Revelations 2, Final Fantasy Type-0, Saints Row IV Re-Elected, and DOA5 Last Round are the heaviest hitters for me. Maybe I'll actually make a dent on the backlog this time, instead of every other time when I say I will and then just replay Mass Effect 2 again instead!

My backlog has a similar issue and I don't even have a one yet.... the mass effect series invites too many replays.

I hope RE Revelations 2 is as good as the first one. It was the most enjoyable RE game since 4 although I would have probably have liked 6 had it not been for it being way way too bogged down with quick time events. Especially of the button mashing variety. I don't know about you guys but I don't really mind quick time events normally, but the whole smash x until it falls off and wiggle the stick till you tear it off type fuck me right the fuck off.

Didn't do it myself but I bought a 500GB for my old phat 360 on amazon, been using it since late august with no problems so far.

 
Surely Ubisoft's Child of Light and Valiant Hearts will have a discount >50-60% this holiday. I have lost hope of the Bioshock Infinite dlc eps going on sale after the complete edition was released.

No. Destiny is the first early access title.

Not only does it have placeholders and early non-access dlc for you, it has Destiny 2 on disc as well.

Im hoping for a DR3 season pass super sale tonight.

Nah. I'm sure there will be SOMETHING that goes on sale you'll want during the holiday countdowns and week long deals. If I recall correctly, a crapton of stuff goes on sale the final two weeks of the year in addition to daily deals leading up to the New Year
