anyone hitting up BB/TRU/Target/Gamestop tomorrow?  or is the hunt not as intense atm?

kinda missed out on today, im guessing stores aren't getting squat tomorrow.

I just went to a 24 hour Wal-Mart at 2:30am in Liberty, MO and found they just put out some Sonics and Mega Mans. There were 8 of each on the pegs with 4 boxes waiting to be opened. I asked about the boxes if they were Ike and/or King Dedede but they said they didn't receive it on their trucks and that they were more Sonics and Mega Mans. The lady told me she didn't know the release date on Ike or King Dedede and just told me to check back. Thought I'd give you guys a heads up for those missing Sonic and Mega Man since Wal-Mart must be receiving their stock this weekend.

You should hit up Walmart besides that probably going to find nothing... Target is online only, TRU is a maybe (but mostly no because everyone went yesterday) Best buy will be bone dry again and Gamestop has nothing till Wednesday

Keep in mind that you won't find any Ike, Mega Man, Dedede (?), or Sonic in Target stores. They're online only.

 
Anyone have experience using BrickSeek with Walmart? There aren't any nearby stores showing either in stock in my area - wonder how accurate it is?

Blah, got a delay email on my DDD target order from the other day when it popped up for a minute. Says estimated delivery is now 3/11-3/27.

That's what I used to find the location I went to. I checked on Ike and King Dedede but no results so I checked Mega Man and he was at that location. BrickSeek says that it checks in real time but the Wal-Mart inventory system can be delayed by 12-24 hours so keep that in mind.

 
Does anyone know if preorders are included in the stock checker for Best Buy?

The store I went to for Meta Knight yesterday (and missed) is still showing in stock despite every other store being out.

Is it perhaps someone's that got a ticket yesterday and never picked it up and is still in the back? Or is it from a preorder?

I think I can debunk this idea right now. If you look at the official model number of this bundle at walmart it matches ever other retailers model number also. I would think if this bundle truly contained another sku (gold mario) that this bundle would in fact have a different model number.

If nintendo was smart(lol...I know..) , they would include gold mario with EVERY mario party 10. This would infact make it a multi million seller easily.

I just got off the phone with bestbuy CS, my damaged MKs will be replaced, with the shipping estimate of 3/5. She said hold on the damaged MKs til I get a shipping confirmation. She even added a note on the reship to ship them in a bigger box. The damaged MKs I received came in a tiny box, they had to bend the card to get it in. Thanks for everyone here who suggested complaining about it, I was resigned to keeping these damaged MKs. Interesting note, she did say that with the supplies so low, they can replace these once.

Lol, send me all the damaged ones and let them just bill you for it. Essentially, I just paid for them by giving you the money plus shipping.
 
I'll buy into the gold mario Walmart MP10 bundle theory. Might as well, as I bought into the CN reward theory. Preordered, lol.

Yeah she did say I can keep them, BBY will just bill me for them. I'm contemplating doing this because I don't think my buddy got one yesterday.

That's what I'm not sure about. On the 19th, I received an email saying all three would be ready for pick up on the 20th. Then on the morning of the 20th, I received 3x order cancellation emails regarding each one.

I went to the store last night to see what's up and the employees were beyond confused. I asked them if they held items for online pre-orders and they said yes. I then asked why mine weren't held, to which they couldn't offer any answer. The manager just kinda stood there and blamed everyone else.

Dedede and MK are the the first two I've missed at retail since the wave 1 rares. I'm pretty ready to quit, honestly.

Gameboy415's post at the top of the page reminded me of something else I was trying to think of whenever someone says Nintendo and Walmart-exclusives never happen.

EDIT: Not saying that I really buy the whole Gold Mario until I see some sort of official word on it. But I guess since they don't charge until shipping, I might buy the bundle online just to hope it comes with a Gold one and the return it if it does not.

WM also had an exclusive Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver bundle that came with a cloth and figure in one big box.

Which store was this at? I think there are a lot of cags in your area that could probably attest to anything they saw in the morning.

It was more then bent cards, the plastic was caved in a bit on one of them. I told the CS lady exactly what the packaging damage was and she was kind enough to offer to replace them. I'm beginning to think the replacement offer on damaged MKs is on a case by case basis. A fellow CAG in an earlier post was only offered a discount.

I get where you coming from I been out tracking these down for the past two months at retail also and the last two missing is close to same as you except it Ike instead of dedede and also MK

Wow .. Kudos to BB for doing that replacement. I should have asked that a few weeks ago when my Sheik showed up mangled  :whistle2:&

If Walmart officially announces the Gold Mario, expect collectors to go ballistic .. just sayin'

They could count me out, I detest Walmart, I only go there if I have to. Plus, I don't really care for a variant color. If I can't order online I can only imagine the chaos that would ensue there.

I guess that's only plus side is if yor going to line up, the 24hr stores are open already to do so.
 
I unboxed and use all of my Amiibos daily. I have 27/29.

Also, I like the fact that you have to beat a level in the new Kirby game before you can use an Amiibo as to not make the game easier (than it already is).

Like I said, I think BBY will offer MK replacements on a case by case basis. For me, I try to establish a rapport with the CS person, be sincere and honest, and try not to use harsh words like livid, upset, angry etc. "Disappointment" is a good word to use to convey your dismay.

Is Kirby worth getting? I'm on the Fence since you really never look at the tv while playing. I loved Toad so if it has that style to it than I will grab it.
 
So I started out getting the characters I like but I'm only missing a few so I think I'll try to collect all of them (minus the trinity), so I'm gonna wait for Mario, luigi, and samus go on sale I think. I think I'm sol on Pit and sonic

Edit: but I'm not getting Lucario, that thing just looks stupid to me (sorry)

I called they cs rep yesterday and they have nothing, you are very lucky. I tried again and no go either. Been told by friendly cs rep they will be more meta knight on the way but the upper levels didn't say when.
