Anyone in the San Jose area going to the Coleman GS store at 12 to put in a pre-order for Ness?

Anyone else do a WIS order before?  From my experience, they have taken *at least* five minutes and usually a full 10.  Given how long it will take to process all these orders, I bet the true online orders don't go live until tonight (and not for more than a minute)

Also I think I'm going to submit a request for a Beanie Baby Amiibo.  Let's stop making comparisons and just make it happen.  Heck, Yarn Yoshi is halfway there.

I might go to that one, the one in Rivermark Plaza in Santa Clara is closer to my office however, I just despise the parking situation in that complex around lunch time.

 
Just drove 25 minutes out to get fricking Toad at Target. None of my stores had him. He was hiding in the back so I'm glad I asked. 25% off to boot. I did this way too early, could of waited for GS to open to pre-order Lucina but all I really wanted was Toad. I also ended up buying Bowser and Toon Link becuz of the sale... -_-

Also, why would Nintendo make less Toad when it's his debut and the others have their 2nd iterations?! If anything they should of made 2 times the Toad! Flawless Nintendo logic...

 
Just got up a little while ago, so the pre orders for the amiibos at gamestop will NOT be available online..only in store am I Understanding that right? Guess I will just have to go tomorrow, the gamestop near me not many people go to so I think I should be OK but I would have preferred pre ordering everything online..if it will be available online where on the gamestop site should I go to keep on refreshing at 12noon

That's great. But amiibos are quickly becoming Skylanders. or Guitar Hero. The market is getting flooded with releases and soon people aren't going to care. It won't sustain itself at its current level. They are announcing new figures for every new Nintendo game now. Eventually there is going to be much diminished collector interest with these. No they are not going away, but interest will absolutely wane, probably starting at the end of the SSB series.

They have already released rehashes of Super Mario Bros characters and before the year is over you'll likely see a third round. Like I said you gotta draw the line somewhere. There aren't many people on here with everlasting funds and infinite storage space.

I work by the airport, so its a 6 minute drive for me. Trying to figure out the best time to leave for "lunch" so I can get in and get out at GS.

 
So GameStop is going back on their word to drive people to their stores?  Lame.  I guess no Ness for me.  He was on the fence for me anyways.

 
I want a Ness but i'm unable to go into the store and by the time they go up online i'll be at work. Not losing sleep over missing Jigglypuff but i definitely will be annoyed if i miss Ness. i just hope i don't have to import or pay a scalper. I already paid $25 for King Dedede last wave and i hated doing that.

"In order to ensure that YOUR customer have the first opportunity to order these characters, online order through GameStop.com will NOT be turned on at 2pm, but at a later time."

According to the internal memo that was posted. The said 'later time' was not specified. I can't account for the authenticity of the note, but seems legit.

REALLY hoping there's not a huge line when I get there.  I'll be traveling to the one further from work but that I anticipate having less people in line... never know though, people be crazy.

stop spreading false times! it's 3pm EDT, 2pm CDT, 12pm PDT. Or just use ET!  oh but I think random places in AZ or NM still on ST since they don't believe in daylight
