This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Tried Chrome and Firefox, as well as the client, still can't play that stupid monster game.

On one hand, I'm sad that I'm missing out on summer cards while they're hot.

On the other hand, I'm glad I'm not part of the cancerous scourge that is the Clicker Heroes Skinner Box.

If you get the interface, it's safe to use the close game switch. My game glitched a couple times (showed game screen with nothing else), but I still earned gold. I let it sit a while and resumed game and then everything showed.
 
On an off topic thing I was cleaning out my wishlist on Steam....man I have a lot of bad looking stuff on it. So many RPGMaker games and other random indie games....delete, deleted, delete.

If you have noscript you'll need to allow a few things.

 
At 80% off or $2 a piece, is there a reason I shouldn't get the BloodRayne games? I highly doubt they'll be daily or flash deals and EnhancedSteam isn't really working for me right now.

Get the Gold edition for $4.99 instead. The "Complete" edition includes foil unlocks of all the cards eliminating any sort of progression in the game since you start the game with everything unlocked. The Gold edition includes all the extra DLC cards but you actually have to play the game to unlock them.

The 2014 edition is far better than the 2015 edition so if you want a M:tG game on Steam, 2014 Gold ($4.99) is the way to go. If you already bought the Complete edition you linked, go test out Steam's new refund feature ;)

Do they repeat the flash sales at the end of the entire sale? Kind of on the fence on Ziggurat. Would like to wait and see what other goodies come along.

Typically, if you see a game as a flash or daily, that's its highest discount. We used to see community vote losers appear later, but the meta is a bit different this sale.

Ok. Wasn't thinking about it getting a higher discount. Just wanted to know if it would be back so I could save my cash to go towards other possible deals.

I'll probably just give in and get it.....

How do you play on a phone. It's going to be almost a week before I get back to my desktop.
 
Question: I am currently building my pc and need a few more parts. Ill probably be done by next week and its going to be running windows. I currently have a macbook air and I am buying games from steam on my mac. I haven't installed them though. In my library it says "MAC (30)". Would I be able to download them on my new pc?

If you're asking if you can purchase on your Mac to download later on your PC, the answer is yes. If you're asking if you can purchase Mac games to dowload and play on a PC, then the answer is yes if those Mac games are listed as SteamPlay titles.

Yes. Buy it once, play it on all platforms it's available on through steam.

Edit: Neuro'd. His was the more detailed response anyway.

So, for some reason, I decided to download Crysis3 on Origin (bought it from Amazon a while back) since I now have a card that can play it.

Origin has decided that it doesn't want to let me download or play it.   No matter how many times I hit the download button, or restart Origin it just sits there like the jerk that it is.  Oh well.  Screw you too EA!

I'm using the Runescape bot I posted to my activity feed, but I think they're savvy on 1 ms delay clicking since I don't get any gold for defeating monsters. I restarted because I wasted gold on some stupid power ups, and now I regret it because the other servers suck.

I have this issue with a couple Origin games. One being Alice that I had installed on my previous rig, but refuses to download on my current rig. I haven't been motivated enough to contact CS yet though.
 
I can never keep up with the bundles - glad you guys can. And good timing too! Thanks to all of you - off to purchase said bundle.

FYI - Thanks for the Ziggurat recommendation - my son is loving it.

My idling thing got to level 30 then froze. The zombies keep respawning, so the level never ends. It makes sense if they respawn while the boss is alive, but he died like ten minutes into the level. Then I died, tried to respawn, and the game froze and won't load again.

Ridiculous.

I get the interface and nothing else, and is apparently level 36 with almost 400k gold now, and I havn't done a thing in it. The stats on the left side of the monster page shows me at 0-0-0-2. The 2 being 2 cards unlocked. All while not doing anything other than failing to get into the game at the start. This is better than the click blindly vote every 4 hours! :D/
