Django is wayyyyyyy gorier than any Western I've seen before.

For it's time, The Wild Bunch was considered a very violent Western and rightfully so.

Django was a good movie, and if you disagree, I'll automatically assume you're a dumbass who has never seen a spaghetti western and doesn't understand that it's an homage that even uses songs from Ennio Morricone.

Yo Fox (Cheaplikea, not furry) we're getting bombarded with CDKeys threads now. You should probably change the G2A thread to the 'Shady Ass Grey Market Key Sellers Who Get Their Keys From The Russian Mafia Who Obtain Them With Stolen Credit Cards Thread'.

But then people would piss and moan. Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children key sellers! so I suppose it's better to name it some PC Carebear shit like 3rd Party Key Sellers Thread or something.

So it's been about over 3 weeks since I requested a refund on a purchase. Still haven't had the funds added to my account yet, even though I contacted support about it around a week and a half ago. Anybody have any ideas?

That's too long. I bought something during the summer sale that I got refunded for $8. The approval e-mail was sent within about ten minutes, and the funds were added back to my wallet about 4 days later. Did you get the e-mail? Was the payment approved in the first place and/or did you already idle it for cards?

Game was never touched. Refund was approved nearly instantly and was told the funds would be added in 10 days, iirc. I sent Steam support a ticket about this and of course was ignored. Just sent another one and made a post on reddit because I feel like there's a better chance fucking gaben will happen to see it on reddit than there is of me getting a response from steam support.

Wait - Steam actually has Support now?

That's news to me!

It sucks that you probably bought it with wallet money, otherwise you could file a dispute and get your money back sooner. That's the bad part about proprietary currency--Valve, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft all have the ability to screw you over by illegitimatizing your funds.

I only partially bought with wallet money. I'm not sure how involved filing a dispute is though and if it's worth it for 4 bucks or whatever

It was dumb, spaghetti westerns are some of my favorites too. Maybe it's because that douchelord Tarantino made it or maybe it was Jamie fox or maybe it was Leonardo....maybe the combo of all 3 made it shit. In the end it was just a schlocky revenge flick....maybe Liam Nissan can be in the sequel

IIRC, most of the money he used to buy it with came from a credit card or paypal. Personally I think filing a dispute is a bad idea though, Valve can and probably would lock your account for doing that.

EDIT: Ninja'd by pasports

Yeah, I don't think it's a good idea to file a dispute because who knows what would happen. Although it's ridiculous that I have to worry about that considering the dispute would be about how they promised to refund me within ten days and then didnt do that and then ignored my inquiries about it.

The movie won two Oscars and is rated the #59 best movie of all time on IMDB. It is an amazing movie by both critic and public standards. It was probably Samuel L Jackson's best performance ever. He stole the show. If you wanted to say "I didn't like it" then okay fair enough. But calling it dumb makes you look really stupid.

Arguing with Drabe is like arguing with a wall. A really mean wall who makes you cry and doesn't care because it's three sheets to wind.

Well Jesus if IMDB says it's good it's gotta be. Two oscars. Holy shit. Titanic won 11, I guess titanic is better.....Moran.

Quentin is waiting for you to fellate him more....so continue.

Yeah they've got cups like that at Walt Disney World too -- RFID chips. Only over there they make you wait 3 minutes between refills (presumably to prevent you from filling a giant cooler full of your favorite beverage, or sharing with a friend).

DRM on food is a new low.

So I think I might have a sicheeashun like Passports but I don't know. I requested a refund for like $4 during the sale, got the approved email almost right away and then I don't know that I ever got the refund. I mean I've been selling cards all along so funds have constantly been added but I don't recall seeing a notice or any sort of confirmation anywhere that I got the $4 in one lump.

So for those that got a refund and for sure for sure know the money went in your account do they give you an email or does something show up on your account page or otherwise can you verify that you got the refund? Because I honestly can't tell if I just sold a bunch of cards during the sale or actually did get the refund and I don't know where to look. If there is even a place to look.

Knowing Valve they probably didn't think to do that.

*Edited to add: Purchase was made with Wallet money.

New Featured Nuuvem deals:

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas - $4.77

Highlands - $3.82

Child of Light (Uplay) - $2.78

Tomb Raider - $6.37

Assassins Creed Unity: (Uplay) - $20.70

I Am Bread - $6.37

Full list of discounted stuff
Assassin's Creed III is $3.60 for anyone who still might want that. The older games (up to Revelations) all have decent discounts.

Edit: Ooh on the Brazilian site Black Flag Gold is just shy of $8. I knew I passed it up on Steam for $15 for a reason, but Uplay only...

Meh I might get Oceanhorn as retail therapy. I'm still pissed off about that Ori situation and I need to do something to console myself besides pie-ratting it.

The Tomb Raider games are unavailable for me, but the collection isn't, and I'll be damned if I pay $15 for stuff I already have at GOG.

Who can drink a large soda in two or three minutes.... and still want more?

Where were these cups? I ate at the sandwich place across from the ball at Epcot and was stoked that the soda machine was freely accessible. 2 bucks and I abused the hell out of that machine on a hot summer day.

Which is weird.. what the hell are all you people doing in FL?

... it was Diet. Duh. :p

in my case i was eating a meal with my drink so it actually was some time, i don't know how long exactly, before i went back to the machine for a refill. so it wasn't JUST 2 or 3 minutes....

dumbass

What games are worth picking up cheap if someone has never played an assassins creed? Any disadvantage to getting them on uplay other than obviously needing to deal with uplay?

Whatever you do, don't get 1, as it only has Tages DRM. I was a dumbass and forgot it wasn't uPlay and as a result I now own 2 Tages copies of Assassin's Creed 1, none Steam or uPlay. Sigh...
