Since I thought the cheap 3DS games thread was a good idea. I thought I would start one for the PS Vita. I will maintain this site a few times a day going forward. Post links up to new deals and I will add them to the OP. Anyhow, here we go:

It's a matter of what you believe is acceptable for a girl that age. Neptunia U actually doesn't have the full screen CG images(usually in a state of undress or with bouncing breasts being the focus) made by the woman who draws the characters.

The world is essentially all run by women (at least what you see) and any men are silhouettes, animals, or bad guys(usually in mech suits.)  There's quite a bit of doting on younger sisters and lesbian undertones in the mainline series, although it's mainly so that the Japanese men playing the game don't get upset their favorite character is with a man. If it gets her into the rest of the series (like the anime) be ready to answer some questions.

Not for a kid. If you get hit too much in battle, your clothes rip (costume break) and there's 3 quick scenes showing pretty much boob and panty shots. Get hit again and there are 3 more quick scenes showing them ripping further. I played it recently on a plane ride. If there was a kid nearby, I wouldn't have.

Debating on trading a vita 1k in at Azon for $156 and then buying that gamestop blue one on tuesday for $16X.xx

One of each couldnt be bad ;D (1k and 2k)

Nope that's it for the lewd. Doesn't get worse. And this game is particularly light on story so not much yuri udertones either.

There's only 1 costume break. Unless you mean you transformed afterwards and the CPU form got a costume break again. It doesn't really show them "ripping further"

That said, Kenshindono's cousin/niece is probably gonna turn out to be a pervert. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

how are you seeing 156 on amazon for a trade in i see 86 :p....also i was thinking about the same thing but then the blue one is an lcd screen where as my screen is oled..so i feel like it would be a down grade..

 
Picked up Re;birth 3 from my BBY and my vita started smoking....and a spark came from the game tray :/

Best Buy said it wasnt their fault and there is nothing they will do.

One of them required luring two monsters into the same room and killing them at once, and I think there was one where the enemies only got hurt by charging a tag team move. Some leveling is required for later bosses, and there are unlockable items to make the characters stronger. Towards the end of the main game, I had turned them into glass cannons with their equipment and spammed special attacks.

The worst parts are probably the costume destruction (removed from the sequel that just released in japan, but the ripped costumes were made DLC,) at some point acknowledging people are being gross by demanding fanservice costumes for the two little girls, and a few jokes about chest size. That introduction gets through most of the worst bits IIRC.

Thanks a lot for the info. Stupid internet is jacked up right now so i'll have to watch the video tonight. Really annoying having it buffer every 30 seconds. Forgot to ask, is there a difficulty selection option?

well lets hope its more cute than perverse then. Saw the ripping in the video Mitch posted and it wasn't all that bad. At least post rip. The actual scene was a bit pervy. Thanks for the info guys, i just gotta watch the video myself to see. I also picked up two copies and will just return one if i think its not worth it. I DO have the LE version but wasn't planning on opening that. If its still questionable i guess i can just start playing it myself and see but i didn't want to open it and get started on a new game. Im playing too many already and my backlogs absurd

LOL! Assuming the anime is super ecchi? She's dabbled in a bit of anime. Fruits Basket, Usagi Drop, a bit of Blue Exorcist, Chii, and recently watched Himoutou! Umaru chan with me... kinda annoying because she told me i cant watch anymore without her so i can only watch it when she's around =P She also recently watched Seven Deadly Sins on Netflix i guess. I havent seen the anime but i seem to recall the manga had a good deal of pervyness with the main character and the princess didn't it?

Even with the screwed up internet i was able to watch a couple minutes of that... didn't seem TOO bad. The worst part was the scene that plays. The underwear was relatively tame. Seemed odd that there was boob jiggle for even the loli character though. Looks like there's dialog afterwards about the clothes that i'll have to watch later tonight assuming my net is working better

Someone suggested Amnesia or Code: realize. I cant remember which one. I think i read that Code Realize had a bunch of dead carts similar to Neptunia 3 though, didn't it? Interesting that Amnesia is avalible on tablets/phones though

to me that was really the only "deal" they had and of course it was too good to be true

Well if GS is playing "take backs" with the B2G1, I guess I don't have any reason to go there and probably won't be getting anymore Vita at all until the next merchant decides to liquidate their stock.

It's a shame because my closest store had a very good selection of used games, including a few of the rarer titles.
 
I think they are taking it back cause while in GameStop earlier trading a game in I got a peek at the ad and it the exact same one that is on GameStop website right now
 
GameSlop is going to have a hard time moving inventory of used games this holiday season without doing at B2G1 sale. Seriously, they already jacked up the prices on the higher demand used games in anticipation of doing the B2G1 sale, and now they've backed out, totally crazy.

 
My store has both in Stock, so I wanted to know which one it was.

I'm aware of Gamestop's "new" copies and I don't really care in this case since most Vita games are just cart and case.

I wouldn't be too sure..... Just looked at their actual press release... And it is quite plainly there. The press release came on Friday, November 20th. The ads would have had to be printed before then.

Also, the B2G1 starts on WEDNESDAY for PRU members, and Friday for everyone else. Here's the link:

So i watched that Neptunia U video. Dosn't seem too bad actually. Made me chuckle a few times. Honestly i think the biggest problem will be the little blue Jelly Bears. She'll probably think they're too cute and wont want to kill them =P

Strange thing though. The 'costume break' which was the only kinda 'errr wtf' moment didn't happen in the video like it did on the one Mitch posted. Whats up with that? In the first video posted the clothes seemed to get knocked off but there was no pervy 'costume break' scene

Also. WHat the heck is the difference between CPU scenario and Candidate scenario?

Does anyone know whether/how you can stack various discounts at Target?  Best Buy is selling the core Vita system for $169.99.  I was hopeful I could price match that, and then use the Cartwheel 15% off and LINE 10% off deals.  That will bring it down to about $130 before tax.
