8.4 hours on dead island derpfinitive edition and it still hasn't dropped all its cards. I'm not even on the steam marketplace terrorist watch list. Worst remake ever!

Hmm, to use card money or to not use card money on a new controller...

Edit: It uses batteries; nevermind.
I don't like batteries at all in any device but at least you can plug it to the pc wired or with the usb dong.

Seriously? Who makes the Steam Controller? Mad Catz?

It was for a couple of minutes at 70% off but there is a big regional difference in new zealand for both versions in case someone wants the game.
I really want to play Parallacks in an NBA2K game but I know that he is really good so it'd be a super boring 100-20 massacre if I did.

Who wants an internal/unremoveable battery? Lol. That shit is garbage. If you don't have Eneloops you're doing it wrong.

Totally OT, but Day of the Tentacle is 33% off. Double Fine so will be bundled, but I was curious to know:

1. Do they plan to remaster Maniac Mansion?
2. Do you need to know what happened in Maniac Mansion to enjoy Day of the Tentacle?
3. If you rage quit your Nintendo copy of Maniac Mansion over 20 years ago even though you spent all your money on it and it was the only new game you had for months because you couldn't find the fucking key and kept getting locked up in the fucking dungeon at the beginning of the game would you even enjoy Day of the Tentacle?

Foxypie Out!
1. No
2. No
3. Yes

The remaster is pretty good and if you've never played the game before, it's great. Not any/many obtuse nonsensical puzzles and the humor is spot on. I give it 10/10 tentacles.

You can play the original maniac mansion in a pc inside one of the rooms in day of the tentacle so you can relive getting thrown into the dungeon seconds after starting the game all over again.

Mobo = Motherboard.

I was wondering if it was a Socket 1366 LGA X58 basically.

If it is, you're basically CPU bound for a Bloomfield i7.

Basically, that's what my Asus Sabertooth is: a socket 1366 LGA X58 (my current gaming desktop, built in May 2011).

Couldn't tell from your pic on the box, since your pic wasn't super-clear for me.

Is this your motherboard?

Yep, that's it. I actually saw that Newegg page for it when I was looking up the value of it. I just forgot to post it here.

It's finally official. I have Overwatch over saturation and am taking a bit of break with maybe 1 hour a day at most. It's getting a bit boring with the samey heroes and same old maps and same exact objectives on every map. Good game but really needs more maps or more variety to the objectives on the map and a few more heroes. I think i'll go and work on Valkyria Chronicles remastered for the niche backloggers game.

Looks like Overwatch fizzled out way sooner than the Division.

Division 1, Overwatch 0, Buttleborn -100

Division fizzled out in about 2 weeks for me too. The end game was garbage when I played so I traded it in. I never thought The Division was good though. Very generic open world game IMHO. Guns handled aight though.

The Division was a great game for 40-80 hours at a bare minimum.   Same with Overwatch.   People are just harsh.  Like every new game sucks unless you throw away all of your other games' playtime for it.

Dunno about the Derpvision but the issue with Overwatch is it doesn't do anything superior to pre-existing games that have been F2P or, at least, much cheaper, for years.  It is merely Blizzard's polish/branding that generates sales.

I believe the jiggly bits may be helping at least a little bit.

Man, I did the same thing, never did beat that game back in the day on the NES. Really pissed me off that is turns out that you had to take specific people with you at the start of the game. Why even give you a choice??
It doesn't matter who you take. Other than the mandatory Dave, any other kid has a talent that they can use to win the game and get a different ending.

i am cheap.. name me a superior Overwatch clone so that I can continue being a CAG

The real question is. How may hours do you have in Overwatch Nitro? It says on your stats screen. I'm at about 15hrs and still enjoying myself.

Most people that are sick of it have soooo many hours in only the first week.

I wish they had daily objectives

Major Ark patch dropped today.....

I'm at 42 hours and around level 44 on Overwatch. I do still like to play just a bit burned out. I'm also likely 75% of the time a tank/support...so sometimes I get a bit angry haha...had some really bad games last night. Out of my 300 somethingish games I've gotten play of the game likely around 20-30 times....maybe? Not very often though I do play offense/defense champs now and then.

That's the thing to do nowadays. Poopsock the shit out of games for the first week or two and then complain how there is nothing to do. Gotta bring that MMO "FIRST!" mentality into to every game. Because you're not having fun if you're not above everyone else.

It's not like they could fuck up the emulation if it's made from scratch and published by does not mean developed by. Also the original creator Ryuichi Nishizawa is on board for this.

Also holy shit $80 for Go?

Don't get me wrong - I'm well aware of the talent behind the programming and game design side of things. But we could very well see a Capcom scenario, where the dev team has fixes ready to go but the publisher refuses to upload them for whatever reason.

And of course DotEmu's track record is awful. Some people are going to avoid this game because their name is attached to it.

I really want this game to succeed, but these guys chose the worst publisher to pitch this to.

There is a new Rainbow Six Siege starter version available on Steam and Uplay for only $15.  Apparently it is the full game, it just takes longer to unlock everything.  The bros are playing this tonight and I highly recommend the game if you like these types of games.
