I can't believe they put a 1TB in the PRO model when the Xbox One S 2TB has double that and 4K bluray support.until they put in bigger hard drives and allow externals they can suck it
or until my ps4 catches on fire
whichever happens first
Ditto except to also use some GCs.Waiting on BB to put it up and have it glitch to allow GCU.
that's all I need is another internal put into an external case and left on a shelf because consoles once again give us a small hard driveI can't believe they put a 1TB in the PRO model when the Xbox One S 2TB has double that and 4K bluray support.
Sony really dropped the ball on this. I even had the money saved up to preorder this but after watching that I was just like "wow".
The console looks terrible to boot.
...that no one goes to.There are other forums on cheapassgamer. This is for deals not preorders at msrp.
That's it?? Scorpio has this things number big time.Raw Specs:
4.2 TFLOPS GPU
8GB GDDR5

No, the games on PS4 are.Lmao is this supposed to compete with Scorpio?
Works for me still.404 error for me, does the link work for others?
And lets be honest that neither system has done an amazing job in that category either. Many more misses than hits on the exclusives front. No, the games on PS4 are.
Yep, works now, weird that it wasn't before.
playstation should respond withThat new tweet from Larry promoting the xbox one S was definitely an blow to the Pro.
"Want 4k Streaming & Blu-ray + Hdr Gaming?"
I'm not too big on sony but no one has seemed to mention that it has a 4.20 Tflop video card. That should open up double the performance on future games (unless they just dedicate all the extra power to VR which is a possibility).System is so ugly looks like a Big Mac. No UHD Blu Ray only 1TB and games have to play the same on all units so wtf is the point other than 4K up scaled games?
What exclusives has the Xone had other than Sunset Overdrive, Horizon 2, Halo 5, and Rare Replay? And lets be honest that neither system has done an amazing job in that category either. Many more misses than hits on the exclusives front.
ps4 doen't have a 50% gpu advantage now. PS4 is at 1.84 Tflops and xbox one at 1.75 Tflops. So how much power does this thing have. Someone in this thread wrote 4.2 teraflops and if that's true then that means the Xbox Scorpio will have a 50% gpu advantage at 6 teraflops at least. If so isn't that almost the same power difference between the ps4 and one right now.
While true, this generation is taking a while to really kick-off, I'm still waiting for a system seller to appear from M$. I sat on buying a 360 until GoW came along and sold me. There is nothing on the table from them that has me even remotely interested. Meanwhile I'm pretty stoked for Horizon Zero Dawn and lukewarm about Days Gone. And lets be honest that neither system has done an amazing job in that category either. Many more misses than hits on the exclusives front.
No. The 50% advantage the PS4 has is in overall power (CPU, GPU, RAM). The Pro apparently is going with a similar CPU that the current PS4 has, just OC'd and the same amount of RAM (based on the rumored specs). Nobody really knows what the Scorpio will have outside of the advertised 6 teraflops. Assuming Microsoft upgrades more than just the GPU, the difference between it and the Pro will be much more noticeable than the difference between the Xbox One and PS4.So how much power does this thing have. Someone in this thread wrote 4.2 teraflops and if that's true then that means the Xbox Scorpio will have a 50% gpu advantage at 6 teraflops at least. I think both systems ultimately cost the same. The PS4 has a higher up front cost with fewer sales on the console while xbox ones are down to $200 for 1TB almost every week now. The Xbox One software sales are lesser quality usually to make up for it, but BC and GwG gives one 4 free games per month instead of PS Plus' 2 games a month, unless you own another PS system, which that cost should be factored in as well. I think they both equal out on the price front. I think Nintendo prices are on crack though.playstation should respond with
"want to see what an actual sale on digital games looks like?"
Acceptable price? I've seen 65 inches under a grand with hdr.Wow, I was ready to upgrade to the newer model, but Sony actually talked itself out of a sale with today's reveal.
I see no actual reason to upgrade, unless I get a 4K TV (which I won't until they start dropping to an acceptable price late next year).
