Humble Bundle Thread

Clickteam Fusion is way too basic of a design program to expect anything good to come out of it. It's like pseudo-code for ActionScript.

Jumbo 7 week two additions will save the day.

Well.

Those Jumbo extras are worth it.
Indeed. I was on the fence but ABC Murders and Elegy for a Dead World are great additions.

And yet I'm tempted. I have tools from previous bundles--RPGMaker, GameMaker, a few others--but find the idea of picking up another tool to experiment with tempting. Basic and easy does sound tempting, really.

Does anyone know how much the Clickteam Fusion Developer Upgrade costs? I can't find a price online, just one for the full bundle ($400.)

I just noticed something: Road to Ballhalla was released on Steam about a month an a half ago. That game was bundled far too quickly...

It's tinybuild, so it's not surprising. It was free via twitch on release, although it was a huge hassle trying to get a key (unless you're madjoki)

This is literally like the second time in 2-3 months I've gotten trolled hard by Humble. It was my birthday last week, so I was like, eh, I'll semi-fakey some stuff, and this is what happens. I can't believe I fell for this twice! My spoder sense has gone to sh*t.

I almost bought ABC Murders a week or two ago. It was something like 3 bucks with a diners club card, but I had a feeling it was going to be bundled soon so I passed.

Thank you for making the sacrifice in my stead, warreni. :)

Meh, I don't think I have any interest in any of those additions, but the fact that none of them are repeats in what was a weak bundle to begin with is impressive

I am having real trouble convincing myself I need to spend more than $1 on this bundle. I think I might like Concrete Jungle but $15 tier. That said, the ability to choose local animal helping folks and send them 100% makes everything kinda tempting.

Y U NO ANNOUNC SACRIFCE?!?

For the first time in years the second week unlocks from a Humble actually push me over the edge to buy.  I don't expect it to be a regular occurrence but it is nice for once.

Anyone want Miscreated for the price difference?  I already have it, but can sell it at cost if anyone wants it.

Is there a subtle distinction between announcing a sacrifice and bleeding out on the sacrificial altar?

(Okay, it was $5, I'll get over it.)
I assume you already idled it for cards or otherwise you would just refund? Always wait two weeks to idle. #1 Rule of Fakeybro Bundle Sacrificing.

It was close for me.

I bought a bunch of microids games from tremor trying to win ABC Murders in their stupid contest.

But there's no way I'm gonna buy the bundle now. It's microids, it'll get bundled again at some point.

That'll teach you to celebrate birthdays

what are u going to make? CAG Simulator?
I'm pretty sure everyone here would definitely own a copy if someone released a game where you virtually obsessively check sites like humble bundle, gog, psn, and xbox live with the goal of building the biggest backlog you can...complete with a minigame where you decide you're going to play a game in your backlog but then hear about another deal and spend 2 hours chasing deals to buy something else instead.

Honestly, Elegy was the bigger determinant for me than ABC Murders. Read up on it when it was a weekly deal and seemed really neat and different.

Pretty meh additions. Passing on this one. Still pondering Grim Derp + garbage that will let me down for $12.
After about 70 hours played I can say it is a very good D2 clone. If you like those types of games, and will play it, bite. Can't recommend the DLC which I recently fakeyed though.

Solid additions from an objective point of view but it's nothing I'm likely to play so I should continue sitting this one out.

Still intend to get monthly (since I want Grim Dawn anyway) and still haven't gotten around to it.  Guess I better get on that before I Gilby it.

I can recommend Grim dawn as well. Put about 50 hours into it when it was early access and loved every minute of it. It also has full controller support so you can play on the couch which is a big plus for me. No local co-op though.

That apparently wasn't their 'true' DLC. Seems like just a cash grab to fund the expansion they're doing.

They added the developer and android modules to the top tier of the Clickteam Humble Bundle. Makes it a much better value now.
Anyone have experience with it? My brother said it sucks and judging from the quality of games included in the bundles, I am not impressed by those who used it to develop their games.

I've got about 5 hours w/ Grim Dawn and I'm really digging it, so far. It's my new ARPG addiction.

Feels like a cross b/t these ARPG's:

Titan Quest - i.e. you will (at some point) be able to pick 2 classes to learn from;

Diablo games - i.e. the setting & story is just really dark + gritty;

and Torchlight series - i.e. if you go decide to go this route, you can also use flint-lock type of guns + cannons.

EDIT:

I have for classes a Soldier + Demolition-ist (at level 10, you may pick a 2nd class) - which makes me a Commando. For two weapon sets, which you can switch b/t on the fly - I have a Soldier set-up for set 1 when I'm close to enemies (i.e. some kind of melee weapon + shield) & set 2 is a ranged set-up (with guns - so I shoot enemies if I see them in the distance.

The game and its combat is a blast.

I think they also added the developer unlock

I think they also added the developer unlock? Instead of the $50 off discount.

Looking at the list on the Clickteam site, I'd say that there are some very solid games that have been developed with the tool.

Sooo, Humble Capcom Discounts expire in 3 days, and as far as I know nor SF5 or Megaman has been on sale, so those coupons are useless. Crap.

Not to mention, those coupons don't stack with other promos.

Was the Clickteam Fusion bundle really tanking or something? Since they added Developer and the Android modules.
