I'm hoping with the addition of external hard drives, it will work the same as MS where you can swap the drives between different consoles without having to reformat.  Just plug and play.

Although, I can see Sony fucking this up lol

Totally worth it. The DLC is what I sometimes only play now. Extraction on the Outer Rim gets crazy, Sabotage on Bespin is amazing, Battle Station on the Death Star is jaw dropping, and playing Infiltration on Scarif is a rush.

You will not have any trouble looking for a game on any game mode on PS4. I pretty much expect player count to stay consistent until Battlefront 2 launches in November.

That's a huge bummer about the Burnout developers, I loved that series back to its PS2 roots. But thanks for the heads-up on Flatout, I'll keep an eye on that, may be just the thing.

It's a 30mile drive, so I didn't want to have to make it multiple times.

Thanks for the info Cookie, Ive been wanting to play BF since its release because I loved the old battlefronts but ended up never getting the new one because of how stripped down the game was, but for 20 bucks for all the content, seems like a pretty good time to jump into it. I have heard that some of the game modes are extremly unbalanced and one sided, i.e. impossible to win as rebels or impossible to win as imperials, any comment on that?

 
So. For Street Fighter V I know the Chun-Li battle costume was a psn pre-order bonus.  I see it as the first picture on the psn store page.  Does anyone know if you get the costume with a psn digital purchase?

I'm assuming you have well under 256gb of data to backup?

When I did my PS3 HDD upgrade a year or two ago, I ended up with issues with the backup. The first one failed. The second one finished but when I went to restore to my new drive it failed during the process. Ultimately I ended up just giving up. I had all of my saves in the cloud so I just downloaded what I wanted to play and restored the saves I wanted. In a way, it was nice to start back with a clean system. Still, if you have something (like PT) and you want to keep it... you'll have to backup the system... but you can at least delete a bunch of random games you no longer play before doing that to keep the backup as small as possible.

I remember reading there was going to be some limited time thing where if you bought the game before a certain date you would get everything free as it releases but if you wait then you have to buy separate games. Simply put, buy the game now while it is on sale and you get the DLC free. Trying to wait it out any longer will only cost you more.

If you just play the Wii U version, you'll get the new campaigns for free. The regular price is going up for the game across the board so that's why people are saying to buy it now if you want to save money.

If you already own it; there's nothing to do but wait for the new content :)

If you own Shovel Knight now, the next two expansions will be free as Plague Knight was. If you buy it after a week or so, the "Treasure Trove" edition will then be the all in version and cost $24.99, or you can get each expansion separately for $9.99. It lets people just buy the campaign they want, or everything.

Buy it now, what you purchase will become the "Treasure Trove" edition. It's supposed to be 33% off all digital platforms, but last I checked only the PS4 was showing the discount on Sony's site.

Some modes are extremely unfair if you get paired up with people who dont know what they are doing. The matchmaking likes to put the best players into one team and not the other team. Most of the DLC is imperial favored because they have to defend a Star Destroyer/Generator/Shipment/R2-D2/Objective, but if a competent rebel team works together then its an easy win for them.

I was backing up 1TB of data (well 788GB)

The 1TB portable hard drive is recognized, and I can run movies off it.. but whenever the system resets to start that backup.. it no longer can find the hd.... but as soon as the system restarts again.. it detects the HD

So I cut away all but the 3-4 biggest games, my saves and P.T. and now backed them up onto a thumb drive.

Yes. However, as always, Battle Mode is a local-play-only game and so will not appear on 3DS and PS Vita.

All of the content is coming to handhelds for free as well if you already own it. The only thing that the handhelds will not do is the new (for non-WiiU) co-op and battle mode.

Happy little accidents, I reinstalled the factory standard PS4 HD.. and some old saves, which never were uploaded to the cloud storage were still there..

So I've recovered some very old saves for games I was at the literally edge of 100% but never did due to losing the save file when I originally upgraded.

 
For the $100 I will get tekken 7 deluxe $84.99 and shovel knight for $9.99.

Then I will need $6 to clear $100.

Any suggestions? I am open to something being higher. Looking at Inside right now. any anything good and cheap? Could even be a movie although the movie deals seem to always be terrible.

battlefield and titanfall bundle are supposedly good for the single player experience as well right? worth the current price for single player?

After a week Sony Rewards finally e-mailed me my $10 PSN code. The past two years it took only one day. Not that I needed the extra $10 this past week. I was just making sure to use my points before they expire. I had enough to buy the code for $3.10.

Your points for Sony Rewards might be expiring at the end of March.

 
I noticed that for street fighter v there arent any direct listings in the playstation store. You have to buy costumes within the in game store. However you can buy costumes with psn credit. Does purchasing individual sf v costumes within street fighter v count as store purchases towards the $100?

I also never play online and paid $75 for this bundle back in November and don't regret it one bit. I'm easily pleased though. I think this is a tremendously great deal for two recent high quality games.

I would go with Inside unless you truly dislike games like that.

thanks! I'm kind torn between the sales of some of these newer games that will continue to drop or random stuff that never drops like dlc at full price

I guess it really doesn't matter

Check the terms because it usually excludes certain in app purchases but I believe it's the ones that don't go through the store and don't come out of the wallet. I would imagine that SF DLC comes out of the wallet and goes through the store interface through the game so should be covered.

Have Rocket League and not much of the DLC? You could fill up on that.
