For a long time I thought Momoa was being underused in Hollywood

now he is in everything. I'm glad his potential for certain roles is being realized

even in his low budget shit he has a very unique presence/personality combo that you don't often see to that degree

Uhh, pretty sure he knew before signing up the fate of his character considering the first book was out for decades. It's not like they yelled "SURPRISE!" then proceeded to beat him with baseball bats. Plus considering that was over five years ago, his career has been going by fine.

I was solely talking about the Toybox Demo. Yes the trailers for Yooka look amazing that's why I preordered it. I was just underwhelmed by the demo since it was so bland and controlled poorly.

Yeah, was a joke that want good enough to build a demo around. I don't think the controls themselves were bad but when paired with the choppy framerate and the roll being tied into the poor camera it wasn't a good result.

That's nowhere near as bad as spoiling live WWE events as they happen. Lol I forgot this past Sunday to not visit the thread until I had a chance to watch Fastlane. Oh well. At least no one is throwing Walking Dead spoilers around.

I would also second that you should prioritize GOT. IMO, things really pick up after the first few episodes. I watched all 6 seasons within the last 2 months I think

I had a similar deal a couple years back. Was sort of friends with my immediate supervisor, he gave me the heads up that it was happening later that day and gave me the option to get sent home. Was able to come back for another 4 hours of pay the next day which was better than nothing at the time as I was saving for a NYC trip. They got upset at him but he quit a month later anyways, call center jobs suck at all levels. Didn't get much off time as I had stayed on every other weekend at my old (still current) job, and was able to get back up to normal hours a couple weeks later.

Anyways, seems kind of dumb to put out Voodoo Vince within a week of Yooka Laylee, it has an OK reputation at best. Though I didn't realize YL was $40, so I guess maybe it won't get hurt too bad.

Anybody played much of Wildlands? Target is taking their sweet time emailing me the download code but I Redboxed it so I could install from disc and have only gotten through the initial setup. Hoping to hear good things!

I've been fired from two jobs in my life and both times I went in to work with no idea it was going to happen. I'm not sure what I'd do if they had told me a week in advance, but I imagine it would involve some exploding toilets and a lot of dog shit. I'm not very mature though.

Wait?!? What?!? I saw a thread earlier that mentioned that Best Buy had the Gold Edition in stock again and wondered why there was a thread for it and why it would be a big deal. But this may explain that.

Is this true? Is this like the Gold Edition of For Honor?

Some great tips have already been given, but I wanted to offer a few more. Don't have guards at the door. Those two will be outmatched. I have a one segment storage room then a three segment diner and then a one segment living quarters on the first floor and most importantly, no elevator at the end. It's right next to the door instead. This way the DCs go into the diner where six people are waiting with my best weapons not in the field, then they go to the end and back thru my best room again. DCs (and Radscorpions, I think) can be triggered by the radio station so if you don't feel well equipped to deal with them, switch the radio station to vault only and it will just boost morale, but not entice outsiders or DCs. As stated, endurance equates to hp so train that up for those in your top rooms (and your explorers) and have lots of stimpacks. Always keep a good supply of caps in case you need to revive several dwellers. I never go below 5000 or so. Also, don't spend much time managing your base if you need your explorers to defend, but they are out.

I got my first two DC attacks this weekend since I finally hit 60 dwellers (was slow to hit that number since that's when they start attacking). The first time I accidentally had 5 in the diner and not all top weapons as some were 13 hp dealers. DCs went thru, back and down into my 3 space power room which had six in it that finished them off. I moved all my best weapons to the diner and placed a sixth worker in it and the second attack resulted in them dying in the diner on the second pass. All weapons dealt 16-18 damage. If they get to another room move your best weapons to dwellers in that room, just switch the filter to all and you can keep swapping weapons from room to room. GL

Thanks. That explains why I wasn't bumped up then, I made my last purchase (Blue Dragon) on the 28th.

Also explains why my 4 - 6% back for February's purchases hasn't come through yet.

There's no fix. It's not supposed to include a code for the entire digital gold edition, For Honour was a snafu.

They still seemingly haven't fixed the For Honour Gold Edition DLC not giving in-game rewards either. :wall:

Not a great fix but if you buy $5 worth of currency in-game it unlocks the Gold bonuses. I figured I was able sell the disc so I could live with that.
 
For anyone who enjoyed the Ghost Recon Wildlands beta, the full game is good.  I know a lot of people say it's fun in co-op (which it is), but it's equally fun playing solo as well.  It's challenging to stealth through everything on your own.  I am a bit worried though if I'll be able to "finish" this game before Mass Effect drops.  Took me a day to clear the first area.  There are 21 areas.  Mass Effect drops in 14 days.....

So I don't know what Tidal is but I'll look into it. I'm enjoying listening to Groove while f'n around in Forza Horizon 3. Also like someone said, it's super easy to throw music into your Onedrive and you're set. Would be nice to be able to network stream from my PC like I used to do with the 360 but eh this works.

Yeah I bought this and Horizon:ZD during the buy 1 get 40% off sale at Best Buy last week and Horizon is going to take a few weeks most likely. I think I might not get to it until after April if Mass Effect is great. I was buying Horizon anyway so it only cost me an extra $29 for Wildlands so I can wait on it. Unless some place will give me $40 towards ME then it is gone.

Is this for ALL gold codes or just random ones? I have no clue what the extra content I should have is. I saw the rams head accessory and thought that said something about having a gold pass?

It really depends on if you plan on playing both of them a lot. I picked up the combo when it was $75 around the holidays, after trading in the disc version of both for $80 and using that to buy Xbox Live credit. To me the bundle was worth it since I play both games a good amount (more of TF2 than anything), and going digital just made switching between them more convenient. I always buy EA games in the physical version and then trade them in once they are announced to go in the vault. With those two games, I wasn't too concerned about it since I will more than get my money's worth.

As for waiting for these two to be in the vault... It's tough to say.

BF4 was in the vault at the launch of EA Access (roughly 8 months after release)

Titanfall was excluded from EA Access discounts and was not added to the vault until 15 months after release

BF1 may get added this summer as they have been running a lot of sales on it, and EA may use it as a way of getting more people to buy the DLC.

TF2 is a crapshoot whether or not it goes in later this year. With all the DLC being free, they don't really have much to gain from secondary DLC sales and they also have the same exclusions as the first one in terms of discounts.

It goes back to what I originally said... If you plan on playing both of them a lot right away, then it is worth it... But if there are a lot of other games that you plan on getting or have recently got... You might be better off waiting as I'm sure it'll get discounted more in a couple months.

 
So I'm a sucker for picking up gold/complete bundles as they go on sale. Are either Battlefield 4 and Hardline worth $5 for the base game without the DLC? Hardline looks like fun but seems to have mixed reviews.

 
I played Hardline's campaign during a free EA Access week. It's alright if fairly generic by cop TV show standards. Didn't play multiplayer. Probably worth $5 for the campaign.

They gave all the DLC away for both it and BF4, so I haven't played 4 without DLC, campaign sucks though.

hardline is an average game at best imo

and it goes on sale ALL the time so I would wait for a more dlc included version goes on sale since that's what you like

it's worth the 5 bucks but it's also very likely to get cheaper with the dlc down the road imo
