Hopefully there will be a full day-night cycle. NFS 2015 was all nighttime driving, iirc. I'm also assuming they will know not to make the AI cheat; they had to issue a patch to fix that in the 2015 game, where AIs that were way behind you would suddenly catch up and beat you at ridiculous speeds.

Still think driving was better even in Rivals. And maybe the whole storyline thing bored me to tears besides being cheesy. I donno just my opinion.

I believe the term is called "rubber banding" or so and yes it was annoying as hell another racing title that suffered from this was tokyo extreme racers.

NFS has had rubberband A.I. since its inception. Mario Kart & Blur has/had got it too, typical with the arcade racing genre. Don't want rubberbanding, then the sin racing like Forza and Project Cars is what you'll want.
Being able to pay offline again is a big win. Day driving and night driving seem to alternate with each game but I would love a day night cycle though. Just do it like FH3, have it normal and then speed up the time when player wants to do a midnight street race.

Oh, didn't realize. It wasn't that bad in the prior NFS games then. But it was ridiculously unfair and very obvious in the 2015 version (prior to patch, anyways). I could clearly see them way behind me, then suddenly they've won.

Lunch break: Downloaded title update and hit the orange tracks!

Hot Wheels location is really close ot Byron Bay festival site. Only played the little intro track to the new Hot Wheels festival site but it was awesome!

Little rolling boost pads like the old sets, loops, cork screws and plastic roaring dinosaur. Can't wait to get back to it tonight.

To me this is just as exciting as a new AAA game release!

Hell, I won't be playing Prey again any time soon.

Yeah 2.46 GB to download and then I'm waiting for it to finish installing... another 2.46 GB?!

I checked my update tab and nothing was showing up after 30 minutes. I grabbed some lunch, walked the dog, and then came back and still no change. Launch the game and it says oh hey I need to update. fuck!

Not sure if the order matters but I downloaded the expansion (using the bundle that includes it to find it) last night to be ahead of things.

Then the title update just showed up in my updates around 1 EST. Updated then launched it. Not sure why the title update isn't showing up for others though.

But, yeah, both were in the 2+ GB range.

Exact same thing happened to me, 2 updates the exact same size seems somewhat odd

I don't think so. Just a link to the DLC separate from the expansion pass. $19.99 gets you either Blizzard Mountain or Hot Wheels. $34.99 gets you the expansion pass which gives you both.

Says right in the description it works with Forza Horizon 3.

I will wait for a sale like I did on Blizzard Mountain.

Oh, I thought it was like Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious that was a standalone game that could be played without Forza Horizon 2.

I thought they'd build tracks in the air over the Australian world they created but for the Hot Wheels expansion it's a whole new map, all new "roads" to drive, bucket list, cars to nab and loop de loops! This is amazing.
 
You guys have me pumped to get into the expansion tonight! I'm downloading the update now but won't be able to play until much later. It's already hands down my favorite exclusive on XB1 and I expect to lose many more hours after this.

Was wondering if someone would mention this. From what I've played so far, I think the Hot Wheels expansion definitely has the potential to eclipse the Big Surf Island DLC, which is the closest comparison. This is actually more of a game changer IMO and seems to be much larger in scope.
 
Every time I try to buy hot wheels I get an error message. I was able to that new basketball game though, which I regretted after playing for 10 minutes.
 
Anybody else ever have this issue?

Noticed this morning I couldn't get links to X1 purchases to work for those Minecraft skins it said forbidden.

Then I tried to buy NBA playgrounds on my x1 like an hour ago I kept getting "try that again something happened on our end waiting a bit might help"

So I figured id try on Xbox.com and I was signed in but whenever I would try to go to the game page it said it couldn't log me in so I'm like wtf.

Googled it and its mostly posts about windows 10 having the issue and all these PC workarounds so I'm like wtf,get on twitter to see if anyone else having issues but nada.

Seen one of the posts was about billing info not matching the country you're in so I wanted to go check my billing info even though I know its correct and guess what that wont load either.

So last resort I go see if the billing section on my x1 works and it did so I reentered my card info and now my store works phew.

No clue why I had to do all that or wtf went wrong i haven't messed with the billing info in over a year but it seemed to start after my console updated thus morning so if anybody else gets this issue I hope it helps cause I was stressed out.
