Man these rewards are shitty. Nothing to use my expiring points on. If I claim a discount, I have to redeem it by the date it says under "Reward available until"? Or is that just the date it leaves my nintendo?

Honestly if you have platinum points its best to just get the wallpapers and other things like that. Then look to 3ds themes next, and finally if its gold points the Pikmin movies arent bad. Its better than letting them expire.

so glad didnt do prime yet was going to do that f or the game coming out july 28 (was going to do it a week later) and the the LE of this game) guess i just wait and hope for a sale on prime on prime day

 
Mighty Gunvolt Burst - $9.99

The 3DS version was released Thursday, but I didn't see it on Nintendo's site earlier.

Also Nintendo Badge Arcade released the final batch of new content last week, so now old machines are being cycled in and out on a daily basis. It has been changed so that you get two free plays every day too. If you manage to get any plays from the practice catcher to use after your initial two, that could net you a nice number of total attempts. It still takes a few minutes to load and some of machines are designed rather nastily, so depending on your mindset, it may not be worth the effort. So far it looks like some of the more popular properties with a large number of badges (Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokémon, Animal Crossing) have been available each day, while still having room for ones from other series.

 
I was surprised to find that the n3DS loads Badge Arcade a little faster. It's still slow, but I thought the whole thing was hopeless.

I'm enjoying the minimum of 2 free plays each day thing. Hopefully they do that every day until they shut the thing down.

My first experience with Star Fox was at the Winter CES 1993, and out of all the "N" games I've tried and played over the years at trade shows, this was hands down my favorite one.

To this day, SF has probably one of my favorite gaming soundtracks of all time, and for sure one of "N" best efforts in the music department. And they had these cool Arwing replicas that had speakers in the headrest, that really made for a mind blowing experience. It also helped that there wasn't a s**t ton of people, like you have now a days at E3.

 
I was a kid when Star Fox came out (1992?). I liked it, and I wasn't terrible at it. There was a competition, and a special competition Star Fox cart. The guys at the local game store were all older than me and liked me. I played the competition cart, without practicing, and did really poorly. I could tell they were disappointed. People always make that assumption, that I'm actually good at video games. :)

It wasn't fair to expect me to be awesome without a practice run though. I guess I should have just played the hell out of Star Fox before going in, or asked for another try. I was really shy. Now I'm slightly less shy but probably 1/4 as social.

Yeah, I'm still pissed off I didn't order a copy when it was offered through Nintendo Powers Rewards catalog, as I was a HUGE fan. I actually won a flight Jacket from the competition that was offered by playing that game at retail. So having a cart to go with it would have been cool, but I snoozed, so I loosed. LOL

Implosion looks cool. It's a mobile port I guess. Wonder if it will feel too simple/barebones like a lot of mobile ports do. I'm itching for more indies to play on my switch. Picked up Gonner last week but it wasn't grabbing me at all. Regretting that one.

Nintendo must make enough money on shovelware that they couldn't help themselves. I guess it's for the greater good of Mario. Funny, because I was looking at the list of sales and thinking what a pile of garbage exists on those systems. Guess that's how the Switch will end up, too. Doesn't hurt me any, but yeah, curation?
