I love the multiplayer in Battlefront, the main mode is great, each map has been awesome and there are a few I haven't seen yet. Heroes vs Villains is a lot different then the one in the first game, but it's really fun and interesting now as well. And yeah, the space mode could pretty much be it's own game and not just a mode, which is crazy!

Kind of interesting since I feel a lot of people on Star Wars would be the other way, they'd rather play as the Stormtroopers as opposed to a random Rebel guy haha :p And I know with the clone wars a lot of people wanted to play as droids (Also clones though!)

Maybe like 5-6 hours? I was on the hardest difficulty as I said and did explore/look around a bit and just marvel at the sights, it's a pretty game and definitely has a great Star Wars feel.

 
Noticed that AC Rogue was added to the deals on Store Parser. Wish Revlations would be part of the sale. Guess Ubisoft is pushing the Ezio collection. But Revelations is the only one in it I need and hear the remasters aren’t that great.
 
I know gifting just rolled out where I can buy the game and give it to someone else. What would be the chance of MS expanding that to games we already played and want to gift those instead? I think that would be great to be able to pass along a game we don't play anymore. On the other hand publishers and MS could see this as a loss of sale unless they could charge a small fee to recoup that loss.

I’m not the best to judge as I have tons of AC games and have yet to complete any.

I Have not met a single person who has called Revelations the best in the series. Not even counting random game forums or anything, no one as far as I know has ever uttered those words and it's never even in top 3 or even top 5 or even point of contention.

The fact it has those terrible (albeit optional after the first one unless you want those achievements) first person platforming segments alone makes it one of the worst decisions ever.

I'm not a fan of where the FF series has gone over the last four games, but I will have to say that the combat in FFXV is very satisfying. That crunch when you cripple an enemy is incredibly special. And 90% of the time I have no idea what I'm doing in combat it's so frenzied. :D I would give this one a rent if I were you.

I put 3 hours into Star Wars Battlefront 2 . Its a solid 4 out of 10. If you like forgetful mediocre gameplay then this one is for you. You'll be able to pick up a copy at your local GoodWill store shortly.

Although it's prob safe, Target let the $20 Forza codes slide, only the Video card with Gears 4 got revoked. #NeverForget

1 month Xbox Live Gold for $1 + various "Black Friday Deals".

Might be US only.

Might be stackable.  My sub is maxed out, so I can't test.

EDIT:

That's weird.  When I clicked the link a 2nd time, the $1 for 1 month deal changed to $39.99 for 1 year.

I was already signed in, but maybe the $1 deal is for Silver accounts?  Microsoft.com site cookies are wonky.

How is Final Fantasy 15? I haven't played a Final Fantasy since Super Nintendo, I see it's $20 digital or $15 at Target for a disc... I think I might get it.
 
Does anybody know for how long this newest XBL sales would last?  Would it go straight through Black Friday or might it end this weekend?

I'm on the fence. Not a fan of the series, but this one looks completely different than the others. $20 doesn't sound bad for the amount of gameplay. I read there was a multiplayer expansion releases this week as well.

I've played every main entry in the series (minus the MMOs) and loved it. It's not perfect and some of the production hell it was in is evident, but overall it's a great game. The combat system is really fun, it's a beautiful game in motion, and there's lots to do.

There's also wayyy more lore in the game than what is presented in the mainline narrative via a post-game dungeon. I believe it's still currently headcanon and not officially confirmed by S-E, but having done it all, I'm convinced. No spoilers but the dungeon tells the backstory of some of the events that set the current game in motion involving the various gods and their conflicts. After I read all of that, I had a much deeper appreciation for what they were trying to accomplish.

I'm considering the deluxe edition for the DLC and to replay game + with some of the updates they've added.

Damn. As someone who frequents this thread only, I missed it too. Honestly, even if it was posted here, I'd probably have missed it since it went dead so fast.

 
For anyone interested in FFXV, I have the deluxe edition steelbook. Out of the wrapping but never played the game, watched the movie, or redeemed the DLC codes in it. It's in mint condition, and I don't need it because I own it digitally. Any reasonable offers for it?

Any suggestions on why should I or shouldn't I get any of those ?. I like RPG's wether they are Action, RTS or turn based as long as the combat system feels smooth, have  a solid progression system (Leveling up, skills, etc.), replayability value and Non forced and/or extensive dialogue.

Never use Edge, well other than when they gave a bonus 10 points a day to do another search through Edge, since it looks like they're done with the bonus entries. Just use a web browser, sign into Bing and search away. Sometimes I like to play a game where I set up a saying and then continue on for the next search starting with the last word I had in search. That or you can just search Steven Spielberg movies and select the movies on the list to aggregate points that way. It seems you're really picky what you're going to play and I thought you'd like the digital goodness this sale has (considering your drive is FUBARED).

Lol, sorry, first thing I thought of when I read your post. I think it's a good balance for those people staying on the couch and not having to move, to the people that go to a retail store and browse for deals/products. Keeps everyone happy.

Well you still see residual elements of what they were trying to do. The online aspect was tied to having a shared game collection. I know many people on here take advantage of that. You also see the incentive of shared gaming collections with the Play Anywhere titles now. Buying digital throws a wrench into the works when you can also play those games with cross-save compatibility on PC & Xbox One. Tbh, I liked the Kinect, even liked it when it was on the 360 - was a great party machine and actually lost weight running through the Kinect Adventure 3D Pong like mini-game - and felt the internet blew that one out of proportion (like the SW:BFII microtransaction issue, ME: A bugs/ animation glitches). The digital catalog, the Game Pass, can be seen as the evolving idea of what Microsoft had to go with the launch of the XB1. Phil said on Podcast Unlocked that people always think there were different people who designed the XB1S but there wasn't, same design/engineer crew.

See that's the reason I still don't have the Halo: MCC or this Ezio Collection as I have all the other games already in my collection. I'm also passing on the Bioshock Collection for the same reason. Don't get me wrong though all these are excellent. The AC games area all gold when you can pick em up for sub $10 (cents version for Unity lol).
