Because we never know when a game will get delivered, Ship is constantly checking the front porch for packages. Tonight was my early night at work, and he had other plans. So, carryout in hand, I grabbed the package from the front porch. Out pops the new DS title Lux-Pain and a supplemental box of treats.

If you take a closer look at the cover of Boing! Docomodake DS, you’ll find a Sackboy-esque mushroom character within his paper-mache world. Inside the box, you’ll find a quirky puzzle/platformer title that is well worth your $20. Interestingly enough, Docomodake is the mascot for Japanese cell phone provider NTT docomo. The company emphasizes the aim of using cellular communication to stay in touch with family, and this continues on within the story of the game and the gameplay itself.

CAG Blogger Complaints Help Change Capcom Unity Card Fees

On Sunday, CAG goomba478 posted a CAG Blog entry voicing his displeasure with the exorbitant fees that accompanied his new Capcom Unity Prepaid VISA card. A few days later, after reading the negative blog post, a representative from West Suburban Bank (the bank behind the Capcom card) contacted goomba478.

It turns out that goomba478's complaints helped lead to several of the card fees being removed or revised. Who said complaining on the Internet serves no purpose?

Joystiq has the scoop on a new PS3 bundle coming March 29th. Since Sony has said previously they prefer packing in games to dropping the price of their console, this seems right in-line with their sales strategy.
