I've sold a few things, but have only had one find I'm going through with, which I'm going to pick up tomorrow. A nearly-mint, complete with box/manual/pack-ins Halo edition xbox for $100. It's a bit more than I wanted to spend on an xbox, but considering they go for ~$200 on eBay (I just watched one end for that much with bids), how could I pass it up. I'll post up some pics when I get home with it.

But, did the Halo edition Xbox's have the dreaded Thomson drive? $100 IS a bunch to spend on the system, if you're going to have to replace the drive in 6 months or less.
From what I've found, the Halo editions were v1.2 and more than likely with the Philips. But if anything, I'll flip it on eBay and make a quick bit on it and get a cheap-o xbox.

A gentlman wanted $1000 for the following comics:
Giant Size X-Men #1 (first appearance of the second team of X-Men, second full appearance of Wolverine, 1975) - listed as Very Fine Plus
Uncanny X-Men #94 (second team starts in the regular line) Very Fine Plus
Uncanny X-Men #95 (death of Thunderbird) Very Fine Plus
Uncanny X-Men #96 Very Fine Plus
Uncanny X-Men #97 Very Fine Plus
Uncanny X-Men #24 (first Locust) - listed as Very Good condition
Uncanny X-Men #67 - listed as Good condition
King Size X-Men #1 (reprints issues 9-11) - listed as Good condition
I arrange to meet up, feign disappointment with the condition on them, and cash in face him with 500. He doesn't want to accept, we settle on 550.
Best part? I review each of the issues - he was EXTREMELY conservative in his grading. Giant Size #1? It's a solid Near Mint Minus, 9.2/10 EASY. Value? No less than a grand, probably an easy $1400 or more. This one is going in the vault.
Issues 94-97? They are in excellent condition, each is a solid Near Mint or better. Value for the four is around $1500 easily. Each of them is better than the copies I already have of each, so they are going into my vault. The extras are on the list for trade.
The copy of 24 is actually in Fine to Very Fine condition, the 67 is Good to Very Good, and the King Size is a solid Fine. On the list for trade.
I definitely made out, and the best part? He as a BUTTLOAD of more comics from the 60's and 70's...this morning I picked up a Very Fine Minus copy of Marvel Spotlight #5 (first appearance of Ghost Rider) and SUPER MINT Superman vs. Spiderman large size first print for $50, and also paid another $50 for his last 2 copies of Superman Versus Spiderman, one is SUPER GEM MINT the other is Near Mint 9.2-9.4. Extras are on the list for trade.
Here are some pics. I have a bunch of them on my tradelist/for sale, if anyone is interested.
The 5 beauties I purchased:

Original copies next to new ones:

A pic of one of the Supes vs. Spidey:

My new 94 next to the old (with my copies of Incredible Hulk 180 and 181):

The other issues in the deal (with my copy of Uncanny X-Men #1...excuse the horrible flash):

So who wins, Spider-Man or Superman
But it's a pretty significant milestone in comics - the first DC and Marvel crossover, and it happens to be between their biggest stars. Much better than the horrid fan voted DC versus Marvel of the 90's.
There was another interesting crossover around the time of this one, between Batman and the Incredible Hulk.
And I'm still looking for a copy of Superman Versus Mohammed Ali...never read that one but I'm sure it's hilarious.

A while back I had tried to get a DFP and found one finally on CL for $45. I got him down to $35 because it didn't have the ac adapter but it was in brand new condition. Later I sold it for a profit to help pay for my M$ wireless wheel. I don't know if that was a mistake or not. Oh well...
Sorry, my acronym conversion ability (ACA) is completely fried. I'm sure I'll say "duh" after someone tells me, but what is a DFP???

I scored a MONSTER deal a couple of weeks ago. Not quite as good as my score of my lifetime when I was a young teen and got tons of Uncanny X-Men, Daredevil, and Amazing Spiderman in Very Fine or better condition for a dime apiece, but pretty damn good anyway.

I was going to hold out to see whether there was going to be a hardware revision before buying a PSP, but I couldn't pass up a brand new one for $100.

I bought a NES and games for $12 of craigs lists. But when I got there the lady had a whole bunch of atari games in box.
- NES with 2 controllers, all connections.
GAMES

- Tetris (In Box w/instructions)
-Tetris 2
-Loopz
-Pyramid
-Pinball (In Box with Instructions)
-Championship Pool
-Rad Racer
-Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
-Hatris
-Othello
Then she through in the atari games for free, all are in-box, most are complete, one even has a comic book. A bunch of these say 100+ games included. So I don't know if they are knockoffs or what.

- Space Invaders (112 Video Games)
- Space Raiders with comic book
- Space Raiders Video Touch pad
- Dark Cavern
- Atlantis
-Combat
- Towering Inferno
- Defender
- Space Attack
- Video Olympics
Then I stopped at the local thrift and got these for $3 total:
- Wrestlemania
- Bionic Commando
- Eliminator Boat Duel
- Winter Games
- Basewars.

Total Spent: $15.

ANOTHER copy of mortal kombat 3, i have no idea why.

sega saturn i have nights (with the controller), sega ralley, panzer
dragoon, fifa 96, virtual fighter 2, and die hard trilogy.
We are communicating as I speak.
edit: what he wants is $30 for each bundle or $100 for all, that is still alot of moneyz which I don't have alot of, what I'm mostly interested in is the Dreamcast and Saturn, I'm actually not interested in the GBA or SNES at all. What would be a fair offer for the Saturn and DC? Is $40 to cheap ass as an offer for both bundles?

For that, $50 tops. Nothing rare and nothing great.

So how much of this stuff do you all think is stolen?
Most of the time the stuff is not stolen, and the people are legit. Sometimes you can just tell when theres something not right with the listing.
Also, sometimes, you might want to advoid the listing if there are no pics and a local PN.

2. I think I am going to find most of my best deals on Craigs list. From the two scores from yesterday, to the big one I am picking up tomorrow. Much easier than yardsailing. But I will still be out there on Saturday with the rest of you.

What would the experts here think of the price?
Just look at the picture. I don't have a television anymore so I can no longer justify holding on to these for another move. Sell as whole lot only. You get
SNES + 2 controllers
Sega Genesis + Sega CD
-Two 6 button controllers and one standard controller
-King's Bounty, Ecco the Dolphin, Master of Monsters, Shining Force 2
TurboGrafx 16
-5 Controller Splitter w/ 3 controllers
-Moto Roader, Dungeon Explorer, Devil's Crush
Nintendo 64, 1 controller, power adapter
Gamecube
-2 controllers, 2 off brand wireless controllers, microphone
-PS2/XBox/GC combination RCA + S-Video adapter
-Prince of Persia 2, Worms 3d, MarioKart, Pikmin2, Mario Tennis, Metroid Prime, Starfox, Megaman anniversary, Mario Golf, Crystal Chronicles, Smash Bros. Melee, FZero, Mario Party 6
2 Gameboys Advanced
-One missing battery case cover
-Two Gamecube adapters
Playstation 2
-2 Controllers, 1 regular playstation controller, 1 regular playstation four player adapter
-Smackdown v. Raw 06, Street Fighter Anniversary
Also, From Russia With Love for XBOX
Have not played older systems in many years, cannot guarantee everything. Also, some will require mundane parts (power adapter, RF switch).
This is a lot of stuff. Take it away from me so I no longer feel bad about not having a TV.
