I'm looking to get a new digital camera and I have a few picked out that I would like to get, but I'm not for sure which one is the best.
Here are the cameras I've picked out
Canon PowerShot Pro Series S3 IS 6MP with 12x Image Stabilized Zoom
Pentax K100D 6.1MP Digital SLR Camera Shake Reduction and 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens
Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 6MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilization Zoom
Sony Cybershot DSC-H5 7.2MP Digital Camera with 12x Optical Image Stabilization Zoom
Which camera should I go with? I'm also open to other suggestions as well.

the pentax is easily the best camera of those.
also the canon s5 (replacement of s3) is in stores now, and if you dont want a dslr id get that, though i have no experience with it, the feature set and new generation of image software it should be significantly better than other point and shooters.

I have a Canon S3 IS and it is a great camera for those who want to take high quality photos and want manual control on occasion, but don't want to spend the $$$ for DSLR. If you are able to financially and have the need for it, go DSLR.

I ended up finding the Canon for $225 before tax today and bought that. I thought it was too good of a deal to not pass up on it.

where did you end up finding the canon? i have a friend looking for one for a good price
It was at a Wal-Mart. The price ended up being wrong on the camera, but they honored it anyways. I think the regular price was $350ish in store. It is a lot cheaper on their website though. Right around $300.
