I'd never heard of Metropolismania before and sadly this review quote actually made it sound more appealing:

"The game’s worth a visit for anyone whose ideal night of TV involves The Simpsons episode where they go to Japan followed by two Iron Chef episodes back-to-back. It is, however, potentially baffling to anyone else."

Good finds - thanks! I picked up Killer 7 a few weeks ago. You might want to update the OP to include these codes. They're fairly common, but it never hurts to have them:

AFF25 - 25% off Used Games
SAVER - Free Shipping

You can only use one code, so do the math, and don't forget tax if you have it.

I'd just like to say anybody who hasn't played Killer 7 owes it to themself to enjoy that. Unless you are a tad too young for the blood, violence, sex, and uncensored Fuck 's

I am obligated to dissent. I thought Killer7 was dull, boring, insipid, and too lost in its own little LSD fantasy for its own good.

Are there any differences between the GameCube and PS2 versions of Killer 7? Which one is better?

It's a tough call, and the difference is probably negligible. I've played both, and the 'Cube version looks a little better and controls a little better, but not so you'd notice. The controls are really rough on either system since they're not really what you'd expect. Even though it's also pretty cheap, the GameCube version is much harder to find, so I'd say grab the PS2 version when it's available this cheap if you're at all curious.

The gamecube version is superior, the aiming control is tighter, loading times are much shorter and better anti-ailiasing (sp?). The gamecube verision is a 2 disc game while the PS2 version is a single disc.

Why would you want to order these games from their online store? You're almost guaranteed to either get a really screwed up disc or a standard DVD case with no cover or instructions and the game in a slip that's been placed where the instructions should be.

Anyways, Klonoa 2, Killer 7 and Nightshade have been these prices for quite some while now. In fact, Klonoa 2 started showing up after GameStop acquired Rhino Games.

I hate to say it, but Killer 7 would make a lot more sense as a Wii game. Would work with remote only and pointer controls, and it'd simplify a lot of the problems the game has.

Totally. You're dead on. I love a lot of things about Killer 7, but it has some serious control issues. It makes me that much more excited for No More Heroes.

I remember seeing tons of Metropolismania at Toys R Us a few years back for $9.99

I found a couple somewhat obscure PS2 games at Sears a couple months ago...has anyone heard of Bujingai ($10, by Taito and Red) and Technic Beat ($15, not a Namco game, but has licensed Namco tunes like PacMania and Dig Dug)?

Killer 7 has some serious problems with controls and pacing that make it difficult for the player to enjoy the excellent story and atmosphere underneath. I don't have a lot of patience or time to waste on games that frustrate me, so I didn't get far in it. I think a lot of people felt the same way.
