I can't wiat for the demo. I am not a huge fan of DMC, but I like the games enough that I want to pwn this one. Hopefully the demo will make my feelings concrete and I will have enough money for the game by then.
But now I'm ready for D/P, excited and terrified. It's going to eat so many hours of my life.

I wish it was coming out earlier, but I'll take it. This way the demo can tie me over until DMC4 comes out. I can't wait to see how Nero plays, and check out that boss battle. Oh and play as Dante too of course. It should be awesome, can't wait for the game.

I dunno about that, I liked Vergil a lot more then Dante in DMC3. If Nero is Vergils son I'll probably like him more then Dante as well. For me I think the biggest thing is how they both play game play wise. Dante will probably have the edge because being able to switch weapons on the fly is just bad ass.

Awesome. Been waiting a long time for this. Finally some of my most anticipated games are just around the corner. First this one, followed by MGS and LBP. No idea when Culdcept Saga will be coming to the US, but that's on my list too.

I liked Vergil more then Dante in DMC3 just because Dantes cocky bastard attitude got kinda boring half way through.
Nero just seems to emo from the trailers, hopefully he will be just as awesome as dante.
I loved dantes you cant kill me attitude.

Yeah, I agree Nero does seem kinda Emo. I hope that changes as well, but just for *possibly* being Vergil's son you gotta give him props.
I got tired of all of Dante's whoooooooos through out DMC3. Well that and that awful awful song that they repeated 90% of the game. "The flame in your eye" song, got old and fast. So are we going to be able to try out both Dante and Nero, or just Nero in the demo?

Now onto the gameplay. This game is bitch hard. It’s a little bit easier than Devil May Cry 3, but still, casual players beware - if I see a review with someone saying “omg teh gamez too hard 1/10″, stab yourself in the head, please. Seriously, if you don’t know how to play HARDCORE games, go back to Zuma.
The difficulty is indeed unforgiving. It kicks off much like DMC3 with hordes of enemies coming at you, but this time around you are rewarded with lots more gorgeous cut-scenes and a very deep and emotional story.
Unlike DMC3 where you had lots of backtracking and “time to breathe”, in this Devil May Cry 4 review I have to say that sometimes it gets even too challenging for me (I’ve beaten DMC3 on the hardest difficulty twice), as sometimes you go into a room filed with enemies, only to get thrown into another battle in the other room - and just when you think you have time to breathe (and your health bar is almost at null) - another horde of demons is sent your way.
Let me draw a graph of the difficulty in DMC4:

Wow. My ass got owned at DMC3. I'm kind of looking forward to this. As long as there are cool cutscenes and boss fights it should be alright.

I'm really excited about this... never played any of them before (picked Xbox last generation, and stuck with it) so I'm looking forward to finally playing this. This and Undertow will make for a good, free gaming weekend.
