yeah. this week is going to be hectic for me guys. So if you don't see me on like, at all, then I'm buried knee deep in school work.
That sucks dude I know the feeling. Glad you're back though and the GGT can get back on track. So to move this along in the "right direction" what games do you all plan on getting this upcoming week? For myself DMC4, Lost Odyssey, and maybe a Wii and NMH.

Is it wrong that the surpringly-robust single player beat-em-up draws me more to it than the main fighting game?

I really wasn't going to get Brawl, but man they are packing so much into that game. It's nothing but Nintendo game (and Sonic!) fan service.

I feel the exact same way. I was never a big Smash Bros. fan to begin with, but Brawl has me impressed.

That's pretty much the reason I'm getting it at launch.I really wasn't going to get Brawl, but man they are packing so much into that game. It's nothing but Nintendo game (and Sonic!) fan service.

That's what I'm getting it for too! Online is alright, but will kinda suck without voice chat. and everyone around here will have the game for MP, so I'm looking forward to single player with my copy.
I am playing Sexy Bitches wit B ouncin' Tits Extreme 2. It is pretty weird. I like it.
haha, yeah, it can have that effect. I got into the first one a bit (though the multiplayer sucked so it wasn't too fun for long.)
part two though...it's clear Itagaki wanted to rush through it to get to Ninja Gaiden II.

And if what I'm reading is accurate at all, it weighs in at somewhere around 7-10 hours. It's pretty nuts.I wasn't aware that Brawl had a beat-'em-up mode.
That's pretty cool.

Edit:

Is this Berserk for DC? Because I'm going to be playing this soon to celebrate the American release of Berserk finally catching up to where this game takes place.

I generally don't like fighting games, especially the mechanics of Super Floaty Brothers, but the single player has even me interested.

Yes, that is Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage. It still ain't a great game.
Also, the new volume of Berserk musta come out here... didn't it? Gotz to pick that up.
it was probably in there because I'm a flaming homosexual.

Hm, sounds like the previous games. Well, I still have a few days to think before I make a decision. It's really, really good. But the campaign picks up in difficulty very quickly.
In dat gaming news, I got third place at a Game Stop SSBM tournament yesterday. I lost to one of the best Fox players on the west coast. He remembered me, which I thought was funny, since we met a couple years ago. He even remembered what characters I used, which I thought was odd.
First place was a free copy of Brawl when it hits stores, 2nd was a Brawl strat guide, and 3rd was...a high-five.

So I only played DQM last night and then went to bed "early". Tonight will either be more Mass Effect or some assorted PS3 goodness.
DMC4 this week. And hopefully get my price adjust on Advance Wars!
