I confirmed this with the Store Manager in my area when chatting with him about all my Xbox 360 trades I was planning and that were pricing at like $4.00- $6.00 trade in value each before edge.

I know last weeks coupon was a 25% trade in bonus on Next Gen games (Wii, Xbox 360, PS3) and many of us have seen the 50% trade in bonus coupon on the forum (which will work anywhere if you are nice and they override it if necessary which they have done twice for me already)

BUT...

with the $10.00 bonus coming up Monday, it effectively will give me 100% bonus trade in value on my $4.00-$6.00 trade value games !

Added the details below about this offer by request of another CAG and since it is likely accurate:

1. It's an offer - no coupon needed. $10 bonus added per 2 PS3, 360, or Wii games traded in. Games that have trade values under $1 (2006 360 sports games and Burger King games) excluded.

2. No membership needed. If you've got an Edge card, it'll add 10% to the trade price. If you don't, well, it won't.

Just FYI in case anyone has a bunch of trades to make..

This would also be a good time to flip target/kmart clearance stuff ! lol..

I am pretty sure it is $10.00 bonus per 2 titles so for easy math, an extra $5.00 each game.

The Target Clearance Family pack from Target ($15-$20.98 clearance price)-$10.00 off Xbox 360 coupon = $5.98 to $10.98+tax is a GREAT FLIP for this promo since each game has a value of $4-$6 each which will make EACH game after promo trade for $9.00-$11.00 each !

with new trade ins i suggest you trade in at blockbuster. gamestop will prob give you like 25 ish maybe, but BB trade in values are crazy. I traded in army of two this past week for $35, and ive had it since release back in march ( i think it was march).

This deal has been "confirmed" at two different places and another poster has also thrown his two cents into the thread "confirming" it.

BUT...

Look at it this way, the games trade for $4-$6.00 each anyways !! SO you will make money even if you have to use the 50% bonus trade in credit coupon and another + 10% if you have edge !!

And that is worse come to worse, so the way I see it, you just can't lose.

As to my sources, I think they are solid so take it for what you will. The manager I am friends with trains other managers in the region so he should know his stuff !!

NO that is wrong based on my experience. I have traded in games on this promotion last time they ran it (6 months ago ???) before combining one crappy sports game with a decent title and still getting the $10 bonus for both of them. Sure, they might only give you a $1 or so for the sports trade in base value, but it still counts as 1 of 2 toward the 2 game trade requirement to get your $10.00 bucks bonus ! I am sure they also exclude game demos or the Burger King crap but other titles should be ok, even lame sports titles as long as they are not too, too ancient ! lol..

Just speaking from my experience any ways when Gamestop last had this promo and I trade in some lame Kmart clearance sports titles... hahaha..

Yeah they will take them even WITH the Blockbuster case. I think they ding you a bit for missing a manual or not having the original case but yes, they still take them.

Sometimes they dock you. I've handed in a game with no scratches but without manual/box. They gave me a $2 refurbishing fee to subtract from my credit.
