In for 360.. don't know why exactly but I've been giving these games a chance.. this, Blacksite, TimeShift, Turok.. one of em has to be good right?
Good? hmm ... Blacksite site was ok, it picks up after you get out of Iraq. Timeshift was decent once you get used to shifting time. I haven't played Turok yet (other than the demo) but it's on it's way. Alone in the Dark was not good, in it's defense I only played through the first level on 360, a little further on the Wii but it's missing parts from the 360 version. Maybe the game just needed a little more time and understanding on my part but I think it needed that from the dev team. Out of all of the hours I put into them I can honestly say I didn't have any fun. First person view was not fun, and neither was third person, fighting wasn't fun, driving, you guessed it not fun. Was it an improvement over the first? Yes but how many of you actually played that one? (youtube it) I did, on my 3do, right before I played these. There's a few good points, I guess. It's prettier on the 360, and on the Wii I liked how you opened and closed your jacket (twisting the nunchuk counter-clockwise and the remote clockwise to open) as well as the way you check your ammo (twist the remote). Personally I'd give it a two or three months when Silent Hill and Dead Space come out this should drop severely but in answer to your question are any of these good. Well that's entirely up to whoever's playing them. I would say no because I reserve "good" for games like Doom III, Half-Life 2, Condemned, Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, etc. hell I'll even say Cold Fear was a good game.
