I don't know if I'm a little late in asking this question for Wombat, but I was just reminded of it since he was talking about the Fisher Price rain forest set for his daughter; Wombat, was your toe still broken when your wife was giving birth? If it was, did it hinder your speed to help your wife?

Also, good thing to hear that you like Geometry Wars 2, Cheapy; I personally like it a lot better since the first one, especially since the action starts right from the beginning, compared to the first one which took several minutes to start getting good.

Well, only a couple minutes into the CAGcast and I've got to go to work soon >_>. Will listen to after work.

---Wow, was just listening to a little bit more before I had to go and I have to say, that's quite a story you got about the drunk guy at your party. My face was literally like this (O.O) though when I heard you say that the police in Japan can hold you up to a month in jail without pressing charges; that's fucking crazy.

Great story with that pizza guy Cheapy. I had a roommate in college that was like that. Especially if he combined alcohol and .. uhh .. "nose candy". He'd get naked and/or piss at some random spot in the house that wasn't the bathroom. His most amazing feat being falling out of a two story window out on to the concrete sidewalk below, breaking in to my neighbor's apartment, and then climbing in to bed with my neighbor's girlfriend (who thought he was her boyfriend until she woke up).

What a great episode! While I think that CheapyD's not-so-backhanded apology was more of a backhanded apology, I'm am glad that he addressed the issue and apologized. I would have been angry, too.

I remember the joy of having my son, and having that joy stamped on can be taken a bit personally (and for good reason). I remember showing off my son at my in law's a few months after he was born, and the neighbor came over and she goes, "He looks like a little girl." Us: "No, he's very much a boy." Her: "He sure is pretty. Pretty enough to be a girl." All the while she said this in the almost condescending baby talk voice. I wanted to smack her. That's the only time I fantasized about hitting an old woman.

The story about the Pizza Guy was really entertaining! What a nightmare! I know exactly the uncomfortable situation that mixing the partying lifestyle with the married-with-children lifestyle, and I agree with CheapyD's method of handing the situation. It sounds like that guy has a few problems, outside of the obvious drinking one. His wife's nonchalant response to the phone call from CheapyD leads me to believe that she might see this behavior on a nightly basis (which might also explain why she didn't accompany him), and it was just a matter of time before she got the "your drunk, dumbass husband got his bareass arrested last night, so come pick up his shit and bail his ass out" call. I don't think I would have done anything different other than to go out into the hallway for one last attempt to reel him back in before making that trip into the elevator and getting locked out (as I'm sure there's some sort of security that he'd have to pass through in the lobby to get back up). But he is an adult and at an age of 40+, he certainly can make up his own (drunk) mind.

I would be interested to hear the follow-up as to what exactly he did when he left the building. What does a drunk naked guy do after he passes through the lobby doors? The world may never know.

That's easy for you to say. You probably don't have children.

Being a father myself, I thought the comments were a bit insensitive, especially coming from a father himself. And this all happened during the announcement of Wombat's baby daughter to the CAGCast listening audience. Wombat cares about middle names because it happens to be the middle name of his new baby daughter.

When you have a baby one day, and somebody gets your baby's name wrong, and upon correcting them they tell you that their name was better, you might take offense, even if they're joking.

Is it really debatable why Wombat got upset? Its because his good friend didn't get his newborn baby's name right. Obviously big news in his life, so of course he has a right to be sensitive. These are sensitive times for the man! It would have been hilarious if they really got into it during the taping of the show, especially because Ship would have been there to mediate. It should be a new CAGcast rule to never hold back your feelings, it makes for good listening. Even if Wombat wants to give the silent treatment, I'd still listen to a 90 minute Cheapy tries to apologize episode.

Superb show. Some great stories coming out the past few episodes. Just when I thought nothing could top the taxi weed story, in comes drunk pizza guy. An extra funny moment when Wombat gave out a school girl giggle the second or third time Cheapy accidentally said Alex. You should replay that giggle or even use it to start a Wombat sound board. Hmm...
