Basically all what you have to do is add $100 worth of Textbooks to your cart and it will ask after you enter your CC info during checkout would you like to start a 3-Month Trial of Prime, click Yes, then delete your cart (You now have prime and DO NOT NEED to buy the Textbooks)

It will ask if you would like a 3 Month Trial of Prime after you enter the payment method in the next step

took about 2 minutes to do everything

I REPEAT YOU ONLY NEED TO ADD THE BOOKS TO YOUR CART, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THEM TO GET 3 FREE MONTHS OF AMAZON PRIME

Qualifying Text Books (add $100 worth to your Cart, consisting of any of these books)

http://www.amazon.co...ignId=TXTBKFL08

Prime Trial 3 Month is valid Aug 2 to Nov 2!!! FREE 2 day shipping or upgrade any items to OVERNIGHT for only $3.99

This was taken from a Deal Fourm, figure lots of CAG's can benefit from this, pleas Delete this if its a Repost

Important

In your Profile on Amazon Click Prime Membership details and then TURN AUTO RENEW OFF so you are not charged $79 at the end of the trial for another year of Amazon Prime

Add 100 dollars worth of video games maybe, but text books? I think this thread is in the wrong location.

Thanks, OP. I first tried signing up, but they wouldn't let me since I've had Prime in the past (over 2 years ago at a different address, those tossers), so I signed up my dog for a new Amazon account and let her borrow my credit card.

I chose the "do not upgrade" option in her account. She placed a small order to test the Prime status and it worked like a charm.

To those who don't understand why this is video game related: it will work perfectly in conjunction with the Amazon Video Game Deal Of The Day, since everyone hates finding filler for a single item at a good price...not that they've really ever had a good DOTD since it's began, but that's besides the point.

Read Below

To get Amazon Prime, just use a new email address, a Virtual CC number (even PayPal offers this), and a different address for billing and shipping. Then, once you turn Auto-Renew off for the account, just send an Invite to your active account that has your current billing and shipping info. That way, you get the 3-month subscription for free, and don't have to worry about using false billing or shipping data.
