I gave up NBA 2K9...good deal or no? I was going based off of replayability and longevity, since a new basketball game will be out next year...

Both games will drop in price pretty quickly (especially after the holiday season). I'd say Lego Batman will drop quicker since the basketball season will go until June. If you were only going to play a basketball game for three weeks you should have just downloaded the demo and held out for Lego Batman, no?

Lego Star Wars took forever to drop in price, and Lego Indiana Jones is still at it's market price (unless you count Amazon's $3 discount). I don't think Lego Batman will drop all that quickly.

Agreed, good deal OP.

Sports games are guaranteed to drop in price, but Batman is hot and LEGO games are still blazing the sale charts.

I think it depends on the gamer, correct? If you're a basketball fan and have lego batman lying around and suddenly don't want it, it's a good trade for you and vice versa. In my book it's a wash because I don't care about either of those games.

Two wrongs don't make a right, I suppose, but three rights make a left and it makes me feel like the goddamn Batman.

I say it's a bad trade because Lego Batman has no online component, single couch play only. You would get much more enjoyment out of NBA 2K than Lego Batman.

Now if you said a different game with online play, my opinion would at least be it was an equal trade.

I hate basketball games, so I'd say you got the better end of the deal :P

I actually ended up not trading, told the guy to look at my list and see if anything else tickled his fancy...

I do too, but I think the Lego games are boring as hell.
