So why are game sized so much bigger on 360 than PS3? Because they install the full game on the HD on the 360 versus essential files on the PS3? I'm guessing that if something like Metal Gear Solid 4 was fully installed, it would be 30+ GB, right?

More than likely, yes. I mean, the PS3 installs are as you said, core/essential files. The 360 installs are the entire game.

Thankfully I have a 120GB HDD. And that I don't have a hella ton of games. I'll be ok for a while. I do still have my backup 20 gigger too.

Anyone taking requests? I want to know how big Soul Calibur IV is? It's not on the list yet.

Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey. I am really interested in those.

But now I'm ready for D/P, excited and terrified. It's going to eat so many hours of my life.

I am a pussy :-(

I'm still wondering if Sonic the Hedgehog loads any faster off the damn HDD.

I guess I won't be able to use this feature then, unless I get a few 512MB cards for cheap to put some of my saves on.

I only have the 20GB (13GB, since that's all you get from it), and I have less then 1GB of space left, and that's just all my arcade games, saves, and expansions. The only demo I have right now on there, is Mirror's Edge - they really need to offer the 60GB to people who bought the 20GB, for a discounted price (much like the same they are doing for Arcade users).

Why isn't Crackdown supported? Every game's supposed to be supported. (Like it matters to me, I don't have Crackdown)

I echo Blue Dragon/Lost Odyssey

..you install the games to your hard drive. All you need is the disc, it reads the content from the hard drive. Reduces load times, the drive is a lot quieter, etc.

Also, can I buy the huge rock you live under?

Maybe it has to do with the fact it was the Halo 3 Beta disc, and it can't properly put Crackdown on the HDD or something.

I'm surprised by that, as well, since every game's supposed to work. I hope it's a bug/glitch and not an intentional thing. Do the BK games work with this feature?

The install feature actually shows how much space you need before you install, right? I don't remember anything from the videos on the install process.

I'm disappointed to see such huge space requirements. Only with maybe Burnout Paradise being the only game so far on the list that I could install, though that doesn't really have any load times anyway, so it's not really needed for that game. Thanks for making the thread though.

The BK games didnt even have load times.. I doubt they will be a part of the NXE installing..

The most important question to ask is if I can kill someone with the Batrang

Just call my local bestbuy and they had no clue about a sale..

I guess I don't care how much space it takes up, since i usually just play 1 game at a time per system. I'll just install my current game, play it, beat it, then delete the file and install the next game. If I go back to the game from time to time I'll just deal with the load time, since I won't be sitting down with it for a week+
