Is Edge a pretty good Mag? I've only skimmed a few before, but never really read cover to cover. I miss reading Mags, I still have Game Informer, but EGM and the playstation mags have left me.

Man, I want this so much. Really like Edge from looking at it in the stores. What I want even more is a super deal on Retro Gamer. This English gaming and techie mags are pricey for us statesiders.

For 50 bucks, is this magazine even worth it?

Seriously @ $58 it's a but steep. How thick is this thing usually?

Also description says they're indie so could explain a little bit.

Each issue normaly sells for $10, plus this is an imported British magazine. Probably the most sophisticated multi-platform gaming magazine on the planet.

If you remember the old "Next Generation" magazine from about 10 years ago, that magazine was the US version of EDGE.

Be sure to check it out at your local Barns & Noble store.

Ya'll are hardcore if you are willing to pay $50 a year to read information that is already online.

I 2nd a cheaper subscription for Retro Gamer magazine. 11 bucks at B&N every month is crazy...plus the driving always checking to see if they have the new issue. UK gaming mags are pretty good.

Nobody buys magazines for the news.

Few ads compared to content. This isn't a US magazine. Great design. Good thick paper.

The cheapest way to get Retro Gamer would be to go to their shop and get the bookazines with select articles (out of stock) or the digital DVD compilations for $28 - each contains 25-30 issues - and print them out yourself. I mean, it's not like it matters that these are back issues, right? The subject of the magazine is already dated.
