This is my first lowball auction, and my feedback is relatively low. Both of those coupled together, I feel, will detract you from bidding right now. I try to be as brutally honest and trustworthy as the next guy, because I know exactly how not getting what you paid for feels. Everybody has to start from somewhere, and I need help building up my feedback, so everyone can feel confident buying from me. So, what I say is bid, and understand I'm here to work with you. Knowing that you are happy with something that I no longer used is a great feeling. Bid away! Help me out! And thank you so much for everyone who has already bid and will bid!
So, this is my first go at the lowball sale. I want to start off with thanking DV8MAD for creating the idea that is great for both the buyer and seller!!!
I also want to thank Strell for helping me see the benefits of a lowball sale, as I was very hesitant to get rid of my stuff at first, but this will work out for the better!
So, Vulgarism, are you in debt with a shady organization? Maybe your brother needs his transmission fixed?
Thankfully, no and no. Times aren't the best for anybody, but we're all trying to make due. The real reason I started this lowball sale is to keep my dream alive.
I play drums for a band called PHENOMENECRONOMICON, and I was using one of our guitarist's drums. Well, he decided he didn't like the band much anymore, so he left and has decided to take his drums back. I still have a kit, but we are becoming more popular and doing a few better paying shows and on the edge of recording a full length album. At this point, I won't be able to afford drums just with what I have now, and if I don't buy new drums, chances are the band will stop.
I love music. I've been playing instruments for the better half of my life, and I strive to always give the people what they pay for. If the band were to break up, I'd be letting myself down by giving up one of the things I've given so much time, energy, and blood (cymbals are sharp...) but I'd also be letting down the people who do actually enjoy us.
So that is the story, and that's why I'm putting items up now. Sure, I may not have the NES World Championship Cartridge, but I have some items you may want to try and get for a few dollars instead of spending a chunk of cash to buy it new.
Alright, so now let's get down to the rules:
- THE ENDING TIME AND DATE IS SUNDAY AUGUST 16th at MIDNIGHT; One minute after 11:59 SUNDAY NIGHT.
- All items start off at $1 (except for the one exception, the drums)
- Bidding will be in increments of $.50
- Shipping will be about $3 for the first item, and $1.50 for every item after.
- There will be some items that shipping will be more expensive (keyboard, drums, etc.) Those bulkier items will have the shipping price at the end of the auction.
- Let's have some fun with this, there will be some odd items, but nothing wrong with that.
Ending the Auction:
This Auction will NOT have a rolling end. It will have a solid end time, which is on August 16th at midnight. THIS MEANS SUNDAY AT MIDNIGHT, OR 12 AM ON 8/17, IF YOU WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT THAT WAY. I will post as close to midnight ending the auction, but I will only accept bids that are in by 11:59.
Payment:
Payment will be through Paypal. I will use the paypal fee calculator at the end of the auction for the paypal fees that will be taken out. Try to pay as soon as you can, but I can wait about 5-7 days if you need it. It just means your items might be shipped out a little later... Hey, about shipping.....
Shipping:
I will ship via USPS with the most cost efficient choice. If you pay $5 for shipping, and priority is $8, I won't use priority. If you pay $5 for shipping, and priority is $5.50~$6, I will pay the rest for priority. DC will be provided as well. Shipping will be $3 for the first item, and $1.50 for every other item, unless noted. Bigger items = bigger shipping cost.
