I know its early but the ads are already starting so I decided to make a thread for Black Friday 2009 (November 27, 2009). I will update this post as more information becomes available. This information is obtained from various Black Friday sites such as http://www.theblackfriday.com/ and http://bfads.net/ . Please contribute anything I have overlooked or missed. let it begin! Although this year might be interesting as it's the first w/o Circuit City who always driven those prices down...but BB is usually where you'll find me as early as 2am (hell no I don't camp out overnight, that's only for console releases!)

With Amazons insanely cheap deals, I dont see BF from big company stores even being worth it. 4 games a store, prob around same
price u can get them on amazon through a promotion, yet u have to camp out. Fuck

that.

What's a "consule" game? Looks like someone needs to edit their ad copy before it officially hits the street. Otherwise, this seems like a pretty good deal. Hopefully the 50% off on the Xbox games will bring those prices down to $10 each.

Same here, I've only every gone out early twice and both times was to BB. They always have the good deals.

It think it's going to be a down year for Black Friday all around this year. Less competition and companies simply can't afford to discount like they used to.

Same here for me. I managed to get great deals with Best Buy online and Amazon online between Turkey Day and Black Friday, plus some others throughout the weekend with Amazon.

It's just not worth risking life and limb for some savings.

Not really. Most of the stores open as early as 5am, so that's just a 3 hour wait in line. "Camping out" is the people who literally miss Thanksgiving because they've been in front of a store all day.

I have always gone out to a store in the middle of the night to get in line, usually BB. I have never done online black friday hunting. Since websites are 24 hours, what time do the deals typically start? Is it at midnight when black friday officially starts?

it is going to be an interesting year this Black Friday. I am looking for deals on RB Bundles, DJ Hero Bundles and Tekken 6 game wise. Good deals on 50 inch and above tvs and Blu Ray deals
