Back in the day, EB Games (before Gamestop) sold used PC games. Over the course of the 2003/2004 clearance sales, I racked up several 25%-75% discounts, lowered further with their "10% off used games" rewards card.

The grand total was 66 games for $109.87*

I still have them but don't ask how few I ever actually got around to playing. Sometimes the deal is the thing; other times you throw money away.

*I removed one from the list that would have made 67 games for $111.37 because it was missing the second CD.

Some of those are worth what you paid and more... others not so much..

I remember this sale and purposely skipped it.. I should take a picture of my book cases full of PC games... loved the old full box games, but have played about 30% of them.

You have some seriously great stuff in there. Makes me miss the days when I actually used my PC for gaming.

As another poster mentioned, you could easily make your $109 investment back on a few of those (American McGee's Alice, Planescape Torment, and System Shock 2). Looks like you did pretty well. I'm not sure what the worth is of the others, but at a little over $1.00 per game, I think that was a pretty solid deal. I miss being able to buy used PC games as EB...

I bought one game from that sale: AM's Alice from Gamestop new/sealed for either 25cents or 50cents.

Opened it, but it's never touched a DVD tray yet. I had no idea it was worth so much now...good to know
