Unlikely, since World of Goo was offered the same way earlier this year...So, is this the start of a new indie game trend?

That's kinda what I meant heh. With this and the Immortal Defense game devs doing the same thing now.Unlikely, since World of Goo was offered the same way earlier this year...
I guess only 2 more games doing it wouldn't really be a trend though...

Anybody have any say about these games? Never heard of them.
Bullet Candy is only worth getting if you have a controller as it's a twin stick shooter. Good game though it does get a bit tedious.
Irukandji is pretty cool though very short. Its a single stage bullet hell shmup (it's an easy bullet hell game) with a lot of bloom effect. Pretty fun and the ships are all quite unique from each other.
Worth a buck a piece but I wouldn't say much more than that. Really cool what is there but there isn't much there in the first place. Think of them more as distractions than actual games

I'm starting to see this trend more often now. I think it's really beneficial to a lot of ppl like myself.

One does not a trend make.
