Hmm, might go for this so I can give the disk to my friend without Live so they can jump on the demos. Plus, $25 for two years beats the $20 for one year someone posted yesterday...

Is OXM even worth it anymore? Are they still getting exclusive demos? Or is everything on disk stuff I can get on XBL?

damnit... wish you could auto-renew at this price... just getting it for 10/yr is fine but... savings would be auto renewals.

amazon usually has these books at 50% off one time or another thought the year.. i been getting nintendo power for 10 for the last 3 yers via amazon sales

My OXM expired I guess. I'm kind of inundated by magazines, but I guess I'll renew for that price. At least I get the disc (although honestly I have so many games I kind of hate playing demos anymore, plus it seems like those discs are poorly created and have trouble being read :-/ )

Not always, plus anymore I just don't feel like reading game sites. Mostly get my new from magazines and podcasts. (And I've long since stopped doing anything but skimming through previews, at most.)

Hmmm anyone think outside Nintendo Power that these magazines will last 2 years though? I am really tempted to grab OPM...but after having my EGM cancled on me 2 months in im nervous to bite on a 2 year game mag sub.

Why would any of them stop? They've all been around for years. PC Gamer since like 1994 or the like. OXM for over half a decade. Playstation for almost 15 years, etc.
I guess I'll renew Maximum PC and OXM.
EDIT: Heck, most of my subscriptions for these magazines already go to late 2011 BEFORE I add another two years

yes, sometimes they put japanese demo into disc like resonance of fate last issue.

Sweet, was actually starting to think about renewing...perfect timing. Resubbing to OPSM and NP. Cool thing is that I did a 12-month last year with Amazon, so they already have my subscription info.
Adding 24 extra months should be as easy as checking Your Account -> Magazine Subscription Manager, if you're ordered the same thing from Amazon in the past.

Yeah, true, I did the same thing. But I'll bite on this because a) Magazines are on life-support and they need all the help they can get and b) I really like NP and OPSM...
There are times when you need to ease up on the cheapassness...?
