Steam just went and lost their damn minds again. Just logged in and saw that they're running a Summer Sale, which works exactly like the winter sale. Lots of stuff on sale with Daily Deals running.

These seem to be working with multiple pack deals.

Steam on 4-packs:

Hello jp0213, Thank you for contacting Steam Support. This rule in the subscriber agreement is meant to prevent the abuse of this gifting system (i.e. user purchases a "copy" of left 4 dead from an online auction and instead gets a gift pass). We understand that friends or groups of people often go-in on four packs of subscriptions and will not automatically disable any of your accounts for it. If you have any further questions, please let us know - we will be happy to assist you.

Already have most that... but might have to finally give Aion a try. Even though I did see that they just merged all their servers.

This is nuts. Soooo many games for 50% to upwards of 90% off (the daily deals is only a small part of the sale).

Every Unreal game? Man, do people still play UT2004? And Bioshock 2 for $15, holy cow. I haven't even finished the first one, and I told myself I wouldn't buy more sequels for games I'm not done with.

The THQ deal for $49.99 is nice too, especially if you're looking to buy Metro 2033, considering the game by itself is $49.99, it's like you get a crap-load of other games for free.

Gah... Valve knows how to open my wallet. Might buy The Witcher again just so it's on Steam (only $6.79)... but Bioshock 2 will definitely be mine! Anyone interested in the four-pack?

Nice!

I already have all of today's deals that I want but I'll have to scour the Steam store for things I need to pick up. I know I want to pick up the Borderlands General Knoxx DLC, and maybe Stalker COP, Tropico 3 Absolute Power, and Dawn of Discovery Gold. Gotta stop looking...argh!

#13 mokmoof

Some highlights from the non-daily deals:

Borderlands - $22.49 (DLCs $7.49 each)
Defense Grid: The Awakening - $4.99 (DLCs $0.49 each)
Tropico 3: Special Steam Edition - $10.19
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition - $6.79

Of course, as always with these things, it seems prudent to hold out for the possibility of even better daily deals. But if these games don't get any lower, then their prices are still excellent.

Is possibly better.

Anyway if the prices on the non-daily deals specials are going to be staying until July 4th, I'm probably going to just come back every day to check out the daily deals, and then buy those other ones on the last day.

Thanks, OP.

Does anyone think I should get Bioshock 2? I enjoyed the first one, but more for its story than for its gameplay, which I found a bit tedious.

I just looked through the complete packs and it looks like they have all been updated. Previously newer games were missing from them. It looks like they are all now complete. The THQ pack is currently an insanely good deal if you don't already own a lot of the games since they just added the Dawn of War II expansion and Metro 2033 to it.

The Witcher is also only $6.79 so everyone should own one of the most unique RPGs on the PC. This is the uncensored complete edition.
