What are your guys views on the new HST tax? I think it's complete bullshit. They are just trying to get money for themselves. AND the HST will be around until 2011. The sad thing is everyone will probably vote Harper back in next election...

If the tax is for one province and not the nation, what does Harper have to do with it?
Not that I'm interested in seeing anyone end up poorly, but this can be seen as a 'beta test' of sorts of that Neal Boortz "fair tax" consumption tax bullshit. Let's see how well off the bottom 50% of Ontarians are in 5/10 years compared with now. I already know the answer, but just for the sake of sticking it once-and-for-all to the dumb motherfuckers who think that saddling the lower classes with a greater tax burden is a GREAT economic plan, I'm alright with animal testing just this once.
