Hey guys,
I need a new XBOX. Want to get the 250 gig slim or even the 4gb arcade and upgrade the HD later.
I'm most likely going to give the tony hawk game away to a cousin. If he were to return/exchange the game at BBuy, would he get the value?
At BBuy.com, the game is $0.00 in the cart with the console.
Any advice is appreciated. Should I bite or wait till Black Friday?
Thanks guys.

The return value you would get would be the price listed on the receipt, or in the cart. In this case, you would get the TRUE value of Tony Hawk, ZERO. Sorry. Usually with gift card throw-in's, they charge you for the gift card and take the dollar amount off the system. Not in this case, though. I think they know no one will buy this and return the system to keep a free Tony Hawk, and if they do, they're not worried about giving Tony Hawk away for nothing. If you can bear to wait, I say wait till BF at this point when they should give you some much better games.

I'm surprised they aren't paying you to take Tony Hawk: Ride with you... lol, sorry.
+1 to mrosnwo, they won't give you anything without a receipt showing it was physically paid for. Your best bet, if you're looking for money back with it, is to sell it on craigslist or trade it in. Sorry to say, but the game was terrible, so the value is extremely low... which is why it was a giveaway. It looks like an impressive giveaway, but it's not. Good luck.
