well, since they are having it on black ops release date, wouldn't shock me if they drop the price to $49.99-$54.99.... either way that would net all that pre-ordered it a few extra bucks back PLUS the $20 in VG credit that we already got. Would've made a lot more sense on Amazons part to have it on Wednesday... as their pre-order policy only covers up to and including the release date. Hopefully, I'll at least get to reap the benefits of that... and who knows their might be at least 1 game worth spending that extra credit on.

We all know what this is about. Kinect wasn't out a few weeks ago when Amazon had their last fail event, so now they're holding another one for crappy Kinect games.

That's a good point on having the $20 black ops credit for this. To act on something now with this credit or wait til BF/cyber monday is the question

Normally that would be a great thing, but since this one's likely to be 30-50% Kinect garbage it's hard to muster a "meh" out of me, let alone any form of actual excitement.

gee OP, aren't you glad you bothered so that all the lunatics can pre-discuss how much fail this event is gonna be?

thanks for the heads up though. maybe there will be something good on tuesday.

I'm 100% shocked that books still exist in today's day and age. I thought they'd be out by now. They make up like 1% of today's entertainment and unless you're 60 or older, stray away from books and start emersing yourself with real entertainment.

I don't expect anything good on these Gold Box events.

Judging on how much pre-orders CoD:BO has generated and how much it will sell, it will be sub $40 around January-February.

Look at Halo Reach: released in September for $59.99, Microcenter sold it for $39.99 in October, Play-Asia for $20+.

I love the lunatic pre-(and post) discuss as much as the deals

Hahaha what can I say, it's amazon we hate it and we love it...

I hope this "all video games" event do not end being like the last one with 95% of :360: games.

My wish list:
Borderlands (vanilla) $15
Transformers War for Cybertron $25
Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 $30

But look at every other CoD game, their prices seem to remain high for an extremely long time.

Not to say there won't be any deals, but I wouldn't expect any permanent price drops that soon.

Both CoD4 and W@W are still MSRP of 29.99, they can easily be found for $20, but still...the MSRP of 30 assures you that unless BO is an absolute bomb (which it doesn't look like so far) it's going to remain high.
