Anyone else notice the Lord of the Rings listing in the Target ad for $7.99. The artwork is from the Trilogy set but I'm guessing it's a case of the wrong artwork ... still have to wonder if it could be used at someplace like BB though.

better yet walmart, but yes, I did notice that. also the harry potter 3 Ultimate Edition boxart for the DVD in the target ad for $5.99 that just came out very recently.

haha yea, I expect amazon to PM.

there's a guy floating around blu-ray.com that posted that walmart ad and apparently he has the best buy ad as well, just a matter of time till they all hit the net. As for now, walmart and target are posted in the OP (full target ad is on bfads, walmart prices are listed in the sources).

just about two weeks away!

Are they having any BR on sale at sears? I cant remember if there was or not, the one notable thing from Target that I'm looking forward to but I know will go fast are the Western Digital HD's. Crowds are too crazy here in California, hell I still think about that Wal-Mart employee getting trampled to death.

In the past I used to always go with my dad and the crowd was enjoyable and people were there just to pick up what they wanted. Now we get assholes that stand in line just to sell there vouchers for a TV.

I'd like to stop by Walmart to pick up The Dark Knight, but I bet it'll be long gone before I get there...

Still, I can hope.

Last year they had a pretty good stock of movies at some of the stores and I went to them pretty late, the only one I couldn't get was Wizard of Oz. I always seemed to miss is at the stores I went too.

Last year the walmart I went to stayed open all night. They put out the endcaps for the door buster deals at 12am. Needless to say I had everything I wanted in my cart at checkout time. Im going back there this BF. Woop Woop

It should be available online as well. I've always done my Walmart BF shopping online to avoid the crowds, and I expect 2010 to be no different.

Also, I'm glad to see a retailer offer $5 Blu-rays this holiday season (I had a feeling Walmart might do so; here's hoping Amazon does the same).

I think the box set has PG13 Live Free or Die hard, but the individual release is unrated. Anyone know if this is correct?

I have the Die Hard Blu ray box set, but I'd pay $5 to be able to hear the "Yippie Kie Yay Motherfucker."

$5 blus = win.

Like everybody else, my fingers are crossed that Amazon matches all these deals (and adds some of their own). I see about 8 things I would snatch in a heartbeat online. Braving BF insanity? No way....

Some nice pickups if Amazon PMs like they have previously.

I'm trying to remember if Walmart does post their BF prices online, and I think they do. Much better to pay for shipping than deal with some of the idiots out on BF.

Sorry about that...

I just got REALLY excited when I saw walmart's blu deals last night and realized that there still wasn't a thread on the forum so I figured I'd make it. I will get to adding in movies and TV soon.

Nice, nothing for me so far. Still fucking waiting for Transformers to fall below $10. Slept on the $15 BF deal on Amazon last year and nobody has ever come close to even matching it since. Looks like I might be waiting another year lol.

Nope...the unrated blu-ray hasn't been released

Also, I'm hoping amazon PM's Best Buy's friggin EPIC hbo series sale last year. I need to buy the remaining three Entourage seasons and they were 9.99 each last year. Plus, I'd like to get Rome and Generation Kill, perhaps. Heck, True Blood season 1 on blu-ray was 24.99!!! That's insane for a new blu-ray season of anything on HBO.

My mouth is starting to water...I love black friday :)
