Onlive is its own cloud gaming system, I don't believe it connects to any other gamer-points system like XBL, PSN or Steam.

No. Competition is good, and for the end user (us), more competition is always better than less competition. And even though none of these services as yet are in direct competition wotj each other, some of them like Steam and OnLive price their games like it. Which at the end of the day, is really good for us.
