Good find, indeed. Wasn't on my radar, but at $21.25 (with tax), who can resist?

Thanks.

Doubtful. The site shows the standard/basic, which is still a steal, IMO.

Once you’ve finished the main story, check out the new multiplayer mode and play as the very creatures that scared you pantless during the game. The PS3 version also includes Dead Space Extraction, a prequel to the original Dead Space that was previously exclusive to the Nintendo Wii. Players can now see how the Dead Space franchise began and discover the source of Isaac’s tormented soul.
I checked the discription for the PS3 version on the Origin website and it does say that the PS3 version includes Extraction.

The website text mentions Extraction, so I'm pretty confident.

Crap, gotta jump on this as well. Can't decide on 360 or PS3. I have DS1 on 360, but I'm not a fan of the 2 disks. If I get it for PS3, I'm not sure my collection can handle being separated like that, and Extraction is not a big selling point for me. Hmm...DECISIONS.
yes, it's that important.

Extraction is a damn fine game. It should be considered a non-zero selling point.

Of course, without a lightgun peripheral you might like it less.

If you plan on trying for 1000g or the Platinum, it is easier on 360 because you get a checkpoint upon switching discs in hardcore mode.

For the record, the DLC pack Severed is two additional chapters that feature the characters from DSE but they use them so poorly they may as well just be different people.

Same quality DS gameplay but in smaller chunks. Worth playing. The price is your problem to contend with though. You could also skip it if you felt so inclined as it isn't as amazing different awesome as Pigsy's Perfect 10.

Now why did you go and say something like that? ;)

I was about to buy, and then read your post. Then again, the original Dead Space is still selling for about $20...so I can see that dropping to $10, but not this...maybe....I could be wrong though.

Does the PS3 version have extraction as a voucher or is it on disc? Not sure if i'm in41 yet... Tight on cash right now. However, this is definitely a selling point. Much thanks, OP!

Was going to go 360 but Extraction is too good to pass up. However...I have read it isn't included in all copies. Just the SE or LE. Maybe all the copies are SE like MoH was? I think its safe, with EA saying on their own website that it's included when clicking on the picture of this version.

Thinking about biting for this reason alone. If its not included I will complain to them for false advertising.

I am playing DS1 nightly to get to DS2. If DS2 is actually better, which I read that it is, I don't think my heart will be able to handle it. Don't remember a game this scary since the early Resident Evil days.

I tried the promo twice and I get the following message from the Origin store

"The code you entered is invalid or has expired. Be sure you typed the code correctly and try again."

I think this code is dead. Dang I'm too late

DS2 is much less scary, it's still messed up at times, but it's a bit more action heavy- I bet you kill a lot mire necromorphs UN the sequel
