Finally a link up for both Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Guides hardcover and soft at gamestop.com. Of course it's full price.

Amazon will likely get the Skyward Sword CE guide, as I don't think there has been any guides that Gamestop received and Amazon didn't also get. It's likely to be much cheaper as well, probably $22-$27 versus $39.99.

Hey guys, I added a new format and tons of goodies to the OP. If you don't like the changes Ionotropic, feel free to revert them back. I'll keep updating the pictures if you want, or others can use the album feature to do this as well if they want!

I like this idea. Should the OP have only Amazon price links, or should there be alternatives (i.e., Zavvi, BookDepostory, etc.)?
Guides + other stuff Lowball under construction; date TBD.

The Super Xmas Group Lowball is now over! If you missed out… well, then don't miss out the next one!

Other options like Zavvi and BookDepository are fine in the OP.

The only real reason to order from some place like those two above would be if the guide isn't available domestically or it's significantly cheaper from the UK.

I actually thought about doing this, or integrating it into the CE game thread. Nicely done OP, I'll definitely contribute to it :D

$40 for a guide. Wow. I hope amazon has a much lower price on that. I know my oldest will want the guide too, but $40? Ouch.

Before someone creates a cheap and old Collector's edition guide thread, should we also add them here? Like say a Collector's Ed of a guide to a game that's been out a while drops in price should we report it here too? Or will there be another thread dedicated to this?

Hmm? Maybe shrike, then? Step forward and be recognized!

To answer Ed_'s question, there's already a thread for reduced price game guides and penny guides, so maybe keep that discussion there...

vantheman, so far i just see a paperback version for halo anniversary.

NP mate, I had wanted to experiment with the BBcode here for a while now and I figured this would help people find stuff at a glance.

Hey guys, two new cover art pics added! Worth noting is the price went down on Uncharted 3 (and gained a few pages! o_O) and GoW3 by a few pennies. That Skyrim cover art just pushed me over the edge; bought.

B&N has Uncharted 3's CE for $19.19: http://www.barnesand...s+edition+guide

Amazon has been matching a lot of BN's prices on these guides so they might come down to that figure soon too

I'm pretty surprised Disney Universe is getting a Collector's Guide...before Kotaku's post on it today, I've never even heard of the game and I always thought Collector's guides were always reserved for the most AAA of releases. Is it something to keep an eye out for?

:hot::hot::hot: That looks HAWT. I don't know if I can justify getting a guide for a linear 3rd-person shooter (not even one as awesome as U3 will undoubtedly be), though, at least not until I see all the extras that will come with this CE.

yeah, I doubt you'll need a guide for the game or anything, except maybe to find a hard to find treasure or something, but I bet there's a cool art section in there.. Piggyback puts out some very nice guides.
