I am missing some game instruction booklets. Do you think if I went to blockbuster and asked them for the manuals, they would just give it to me?

I bet if you ask.

The used games they sell they dont even bother putting the manuals in some of the time because I bought two and both didn't have manuals so I asked and they gave them to me.

You can try Gamestop, but from my experience that usually only works if your asking for anything past ps2 or something on the Gameboy Advance.

Before they stopped selling Genesis and NES games, I used to get empty game boxes and manuals from them all the time. Now whenever I go in I ask for whatever n64 boxes they have on hand. They usually just give it to me with no problem because they are just going to throw them away.

Why would Blockbuster provide their manuals to you? If you bought the games from Blockbuster I would say yes... but if not you are SOL.

I went with Gamestop and they hooked me up with a case and manual for a game I got off Ebay. Granted YMMV given that it's Gamestop, but it never hurts to try.

Try contacting the individual companies that made the games. Only problem is that they will most likely charge a few dollars for them. Maybe try a Funcoland, since they probably get the most used games and are most likely to have leftover manuals I would think.

Game companies should have all their manuals online as PDFs. I hate when I rent a game and have no idea what the controls are.
But when his drinking and lusting and his hunger for power became known to more and more people, the demands to do something about this outrageous man became louder and louder.

I think game companies don't make the manuals readily available seperate from the games because if you pirate discs the one thing you won't have is a manual.

But yeah, it does make it pretty crappy when you rent a game and all you have to go on is Hollywood Video's 4 line synopsis of the controls on the back of the box.
